I think all three of them–Hook, Neal, and Emma–will become the best of friends, after a period. Hook has lived for a long time with the guilt of what he did to Bae, so much so that he turned his boat around to come back and rescue the town, and having learned that the town was rescued, offered his services to save Bae’s son. Hook and Nealfire have as much to work out as Emma and Neal. I don’t know if Hook and Emma will ever indulge, or hook up, or give in, or whatever else we could call it. Relationships are complex. He’s not over Milah, she’s not over Neal, and Henry is missing. If most of the first half of the season is dealing with finding Henry, romance is going on the back burner. At least, full on romance. They may grow closer and may open up to each other but romance is not going to be the first item on the agenda. And if Neal is back by episode 11, then any romance that is between Hook and Emma is going to be again put aside because Neal is back and SwanFire have to work on their issues, alongside Neal working out his issues with PapaRumple AND Hook.

I don’t believe so because that would mean Emma’s only be in SB for 44 days and Adam said she’s been there for a little over a year. 1 episode does NOT equal 1 day.

Our threads do sometimes go off topic, but like AngieBelle said, you can always change the subject. No one is ranting, but we’re having a discussion about the ramifications of Belle being left behind.
It’s true Snow and Charming haven’t had much time to talk, but they made the decision to let Emma go together. They don’t really need to talk about it because it was something they knew they had to do.

Oh, I’m with you. For several hours after the finale aired, I was so livid that I think I tried to hijack every thread created for the finale to talk about how angry I was. I’ve since decided that Belle on her own is going to be great because it will give fans who don’t like Belle (and there are many of them) because all she is is Rumple’s TL, a chance to see what we see. No one’s asking you to apologize. Rumbelle is my OTP, so I understand.

I think we should bear in mind a few things:
1) Rumbelle is written by several people, not just A and E.
2) You should trust A and E. They love Belle and love Emilie and love Rumbelle. This is about growing Belle’s character as more than Rumple’s girlfriend. You and I see her as more, but a huge portion of the fandom does not. I think Hook’s grown quite a bit since then. He’s even willing to put aside his hatred of Rumple and his need for revenge for Bae, to honor Bae’s legacy. If he recognizes that Bae and Emma are meant to be then he may be honorable enough to step aside.
