HappyEndings: is THIS is the image?
that is the only one I can find that resembles scuba gear. I’ve looked everywhere. If there was a pic of Lana in scuba gear as Regina, we’d have it here on the site.

There is a photo of her on the docks by the boat in scuba outfit, I will have to look again for the photo.
I just saw it the other day hopefully someone else saw it and can post it. 🙁
I don’t doubt that you saw a pic, it’s that it probably doesn’t have anything to do with S3 or even OUAT. The cast isn’t on set. Lana was in Israel until recently (maybe you saw one of her vacation pics). The only other option I can think of is from her episode of LOST where she is in the Looking Glass station, which is under water and there is scuba gear there.

Well, I hope A & E have learned how big a letdown it is to kill a Big Bad, Cora, in the middle of the season. Peter Pan hasn’t even been seen yet and likely won’t be for the first few episodes of S3 (I’m imagining an introduction in ep. 4, paralleling Hook’s own), so a definite defeat around episode 11 would be WAY too early to be satisfying.
Yes, I’m picturing that our first intro to PP will be episode 5 (that tends to be the misc. character episode, Archie in S1 and Whale in S2). And then he’ll play a part of the majority of the season until the end.

The scenario I’m envisioning is closer to (1), but it has PP only having a half-defeat half-victory and thus remaining the Big Bad throughout the rest of S3. It also has the cast returning to SB for the second half the season.
Hmm. Possibly, especially if THO has a strong presence in our world, big enough that they’ll be the next big bad for S3, part two. And then PP could make his way here thus resulting in a bigger battle for S3 ending.

Wasn’t there a photo of Regina in scub gear standing on a dock ❓ Which makes me wonder if they can or will turn her into a mermaid or something.
Not to my knowledge, no. Thus far we’ve had no photos for S3. The cast isn’t even on set until July. I don’t recall anytime Regina was underwater. She was at the docks of course for the final episode, but she was in normal clothing.

KeymasterWell we don’t know what the deal was, or what Regina wanted. We don’t know if she wanted the squid ink. And, while I think this comment *may* come back up in S3, it could just be a easter egg to Ariel and have nothing to do with anything.
And again, I doubt that they will do something as easy as turning into a mermaid to get something they need.

I doubt Rumple would make a deal with a mermaid if he could fetch the squid ink himself. Plus, I want to see a flashback of Rumple without his shirt and wet hair. 😉 If anyone has a mermaid fetch her the ink, I’m betting it was Regina, who said in 1×12 “Skin Deep” that she wanted to make a deal with a certain mermaid.
I’m good with wet haired, bare chested RC as well. 😀
I agree that Regina’s comment in Skin Deep is going to come back into this if Ariel is in fact in NL, as is the squid ink. Somehow, someone got that squid ink, maybe with help from a mermaid. I guess in my head, I like Rumple striking a bargain better, especially if the mirrors can come into play.

In NL, while they could go that route, it seems very unlikely because they need to make the story last. We will be in NL for at least the first half of the season, 11 episodes, if not the whole season. We have to be in NL for longer than 3 episodes because we have a lot of story to deal with there: PP, THO, the Lost Ones, Wendy and Bae, ect.
Agreed, though I’m leaning towards it lasting until mid-season at most. A whole season on Neverland might make the story feel too dragged.
Yes, I think it can go three ways.
Way 1) Belle and Bae arrive in NL by episode 6, PP is dealt with by episode 11/12 and then we move on to another land
Way 2) Belle and Bae arrive in NL in episode 11/12, then PP is dealt with by episode 16 or 17 (Like Cora) and then we move on.
Way 3) Belle and Bae arrive in NL in episode 11/12, PP is dealt with in episode 21/22 before we move on.
The third one is asking a bit much I think. I’m more in favor of way 2.

I thought Rumble said that only a mermaid could get the ink or something like that he didn’t actually get it himself.
Only a mermaid or himself as the Dark One. It’s implied that he got it himself, but I get the feeling that he negotiated with the mermaid, that’s my theory at least.

KeymasterBecause that would be far too simple. Also all those times that Regina was something else, it was to advance the plot quickly. She was a mouse to get into Rumple’s cell to learn how to enact the curse, she was a villager to try and kill Snow, and she was a fisherman to spy on Snowing. It was a way for her to learn crucial information without taking too much time.
In NL, while they could go that route, it seems very unlikely because they need to make the story last. KeymasterI suppose that’s true and a legit reading into Adam’s answer. But he often answers questions with “keep watching!” or “great question!” when he’s pointing to things that are too spoiler-y to give a straight answer to.
