I’m calling it now. The final shot of S3 is the JR flying out of NL with pixie dust, and landing in Oz like the Wizard’s balloon.
As to if they will split up: apart from allowing greater character development, it would also make the most sense. You can cover more ground that way. Hook and Rumple have both been to NL before, so they can lead each party. It’s just a matter of who goes with whom. In my head:
–Hook (the fighter and has been in NL), Regina (the magic), Snow (because you need Snow and Regina together for conflict)
–Rumple (has been in NL and has magic), Emma (magic), Charming (the fighter and also because I want more DaddyCharming moments)"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"So then the question becomes how did BF know that the book would be necessary? It now seems IMO that all of this was really just a way for PP to get his paws on Henry. So if BF was tasked with creating and planting that book, then I think that means she had to be an agent working for PP. Which doesn’t make her the big bad, but it does make her an accessory to nefarious deeds.
I agree. I think a lot of the really big mythology questions will be answered in S3: Henry’s book, Henry’s adoption, the real puppet master, ect. They learned from LOST. Huge overarching myths are great, but you have to give people answers. So if they answer the really big ones in S3, then S4 and subsequent seasons can almost be a new mythology.

I know! And it also pretty much confirms that we will be seeing Tink. We knew there were fairies but Tink has never been mentioned on screen.

I think Hook may take them to some safe part of Neverland (Mermaid Cove is my first choice) where they can gather Intel and plan. I don’t know why it would be a super long voyage. It’s a portal, it’s going to take them directly to NL. They may live on the boat, but I don’t think we’re going to get an episode or two of them just on the boat.

I still think he’s the one who called the cops on Emma and so maybe we’ll hear that phone call but I don’t think we’ll see him.

I would refer anyone to this section of the forum. They are all there, and for the most part the thread titles indicate where they come from.

I think you can’t step foot on land without becoming trapped. And this is where I think the pixie dust might come in. If you sprinkle yourself with the pixie dust, it will allow you to walk on land. It brings in an important element in the PP myth but without resorting to crazy CGI flying.
