Question: What happened to the sheriff that Rumble had beaten up in SB, they just dropped that story line huh ❓
The storyline didn’t need to continue in my opinion. Keith wasn’t important, what happened to him wasn’t important. What was important was Rumple taking that step back into Darkness to appeal to Lacey. It was a contrast to sparing Robin’s life back in FTL while Belle watched. You can use your imagination as to what happened to Keith: he went to the hospital and learned never to cross Rumple again. There were much bigger things happening and taking time away to focus on the aftermath of Keith would be a total waste.

KeymasterEven though our characters never aged in Storybrooke because of the curse, you almost have to wonder what Smee was like, especially since most of our characters had some semblance of their fairytale lives (Welcome to Storybrooke).
Yeah, why was he working for Moe? How did that happen? How does “finder of rare and valuable objects” translate in Storybrooke?

KeymasterI feel as though I am very neutral towards Smee. He hasn’t done anything to make me hate him, but I don’t feel any great love for him either. I think they keeping the ONCE Smee very traditional: he’s Hook’s closest confidant but without the bullying/abusive aspect that was often seen in the Disney film.
I don’t like that he locked Belle in the cart in the mines to try and erase her memories, but then I remember that he did leave her the key to try and escape."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterThat’s a good point too, but since he mentioned “realities” and not “worlds” in his quote from Hat Trick, then I’m inclined to say Jefferson only has two realities on his mind
True, but his reality in WL is vastly different from what it was in FTL or even in SB.
In FTL he’s Jefferson. He has a past that he doesn’t talk about, but he’s a devoted dad trying to look out for Grace.
In WL, he’s the Mad Hatter. He’s no longer Jefferson in that land because of what was done to him.
In SB, he has whatever Regina gave him in the way of a reality (lonely super rich man who lives in a too big house) but hes also got his other realities mixing around his head. He’s trying to be Jefferson (the devoted dad) but he’s still the Mad Hatter (hence the psychotic behavior). SB Jefferson is neither FTL Jefferson but nor is WL Mad Hatter. He is both. KeymasterHere’s the thing about the Curse that I always ponder when we start talking about ingredients. It’s on paper: it’s not like there is a giant cauldron where Rumple was throwing bits of this and bits of that. At least not that we know. To enact the Curse, to get it to begin, yes, ingredients were needed. But in constructing the Curse: what was needed other to just find it?
That’s my round about way of saying I don’t know if he went to NL specifically for something for the curse itself, but rather for something that would aid him (like the squid ink) and only him."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterThis is the only pic I could find of RC as a boy

He does look like Jared but that pic is so obviously Jared that I think it really is Henry

KeymasterDone and done! Gaultheria: I hope you approve of my defining theory. I know we don’t use it in the proper sense around here.

KeymasterI’m with Demileto. I think he went to NL at some point (I don’t know if it was before or after he brought Emma here, though) because NL resembles Pleasure Island. There, he met Bae who told him all about Rumple and the dagger.
If it was after Emma came through the wardrobe, then August would have been on NL from about 1983-1991 if he came through again with Bae. Then they went their separate ways. I’ve wondered how a boy of 8 survived after the last time we saw him.

KeymasterSilence in the Library (season 4) as a very small role. It always surprises me when I see him.

KeymasterI think Jefferson’s got a couple lives in his head:
1) his life with his daughter Grace in FTL
2) whatever life Regina inflicted on him as punishment/torture
3) the crazy man he became in WL which clearly still manifests in him."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love" -
