That’s a good point. We’ve all been taking on faith what Morraine said as canon, but she could have just perceived that the BF was super powerful because that’s what she heard. She never actually saw anything Blue did or has first hand experience. The myth of the Blue fairy could just be that: a myth. She could, in all honesty, just be the head fairy but not as powerful as people make her out to be.

Depends on how much magic is still left in FTL, I suppose. We don’t know how the Curse affected magic in the world. Cora seems to be able to use her abilities but that may be because she was untouched by the Curse, living inside her magic bubble, and Emma as well but that has to do with the fact that Emma is basically just MAGIC. My instinct would be yes, Archie would become a cricket again and Rumple would become the Dark One on the outside again, if he hadn’t been “cured” by then.

Did Blue even know about Jefferson? She’s not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. *twitch* She knows about other lands but for something as important as the book that will bring the savior…she would be better off leaving it with someone else.

Is there a photo of the bean in the book? I recently went through all the images in the book and didn’t see a bean. And…while we might think that she could do something like that, thus far we haven’t seen her do something akin to that to really wonder if it’s possible.

Ok, yes he took the JR to NY. And it was invisible on the way back until they entered into SB where it became visible again. And it has since stayed visible, maybe because Cora died and no one put the spell back on the JR.

The ship is magical and he’s a really good captain. Jack Sparrow and Will Turner sailed the Dauntless by themselves and Jack was the only pirate. I’m just saying that when you’re dealing with magic, somethings you have to accept on an act of faith.

We have had some really long threads on this subject over in the episode section, back when all we were going on was spoilers and promos. I”m starting to lose track of what variation of theories we’ve talked about and haven’t but I’m not sure I like the idea of Rumpel having been taken to NL as a boy pre-Dark One. It’s possible as nothing would contradict that having happened–but I want being trapped in NL to have been something Bae and Hook shared that Rumpel did not. I just think it sets up some better conflict and dynamics, and Rumpel’s a bit over-used in a way, much as I love him

Yeah, I’ve never been sold on the idea that Rumple was taken to NL as a boy. I think it’s a much better story if he’s scared of PP as the Dark One, if only because I want PP to be uber dark and creepy. My headcanon is that Rumple went to NL to get squid ink and PP attempted to keep him there and take his shadow because the Dark One’s shadow is very powerful.

Cora turned it invisible. It’s not naturally invisible. The spell probably wore off.

And Hook was never in NL with Cora. The only time we saw the JR outside of SB was NL of the past with Bae (before he met Cora) and in FTL of the past with Milah (before he met Cora)

I’ve been pondering the idea that because of her new darkened heart, Snow might be more willing to do whatever it takes to get Henry back, even following one of Regina’s less than honorable plans. While Charming will want to find Henry in a honorable way, I can’t see Regina being patient enough to follow suit and it would be REALLY interesting if Snow sided with Regina instead of Charming. Add some spice to Snowing.

Huh, I wasn’t thinking about it that way but interesting. Sort of like if Regina says to Snow, ‘Okay, you want to make it up to me? You follow whatever I say and you don’t question my methods.’ Like that?

Maybe. But it could also be that Snow now sees how Regina’s off the wall plans–that often lead to chaos and destruction–are better than Charming’s calm and collected ones. Not that Snow is going to go full Dark Side, but rather she’ll be inclined to follow Regina because her heart is now dark and she is willing to explore other options outside of heroism.

FTL should have a door, but not SB unless one was made recently when Rumple brought magic. Until he brought magic to SB, new magic could not be created inside the Curse Bubble and it was “a land without magic”
