KeymasterI know this is originally a Chrichton novel, but I wonder if the showrunners have read Stephen King’s Dark Tower series. There is some aesthetic overlap, plus the main antagonist is also called the Man in Black.
Oh absolutely. JJ Abrams is on the list of ex.producers. I don’t know how much influence/say he has or if they just wanted his name attached, but Abrams used a lot of King when creating and developing LOST, something Lindeloff and Cuse continued when they took over early in S1.
I had the same thought; the second he’s called the Man in Black, King springs to mind intentional or not

KeymasterWorth pointing out that it got a 1.3 for both half hours, so this number very well may stick for the adjustments.
Yes I thought that was interesting as well. It’ll probably stick

KeymasterThe scene where they burned the dress reminded me a lot of the movie Ever After. There they burn her father’s book.
Same.

KeymasterWould’ve liked to see what happened to Wonderland Ana, but I kind of like this interpretation.
I don’t mind the interpretation except in the fact that the stepsister’s story is basically Ana’s. Step sister: fell in love with someone below her station and ran away from her mother to be with the guy. Ana: fell in love with someone below her station and ran away from her mother to be with the guy. The only difference are that 1) Will was a thief not a footman 2) The Evil Step Mother interfered this time around, taking Clorinda to the LoUS #2 is the big sticking point because if we weren’t doing the LoUS arc right now, they really could have just had Anastasia in this episode, meeting Will, and running off with him.
Also, @Phee just reminded me that both Ana and the new stepsister not only attempted to run away, but both opened portals to another world in order to get away from the mother

KeymasterRatings are in for episode 6×03 “The Other Shoe”
Demo: 1.3
Live Eyeballs: 4.56 million.
Looks like the debate did help, after all. Next week’s numbers should prove interesting.

KeymasterIt looks like the debate will end up helping. The household numbers (household…not demo!) put episode 6×03 “The Other Shoe” at a 2.6 which is the same HH we had for our season premiere, in which we got a 1.3 in the demo (after adjust)

KeymasterRumpel’s tape… Anyone else think that came across like a suicide note? It sounds like he doesn’t have hope to ever speak to his child.
How twisty.
But does anyone know what the title of the poem is? Or anything about it?

KeymasterRumple’s hair! I know RC’s been wearing a wig, but why take it off now?
His hair must have some sort of magical properties that are going to help Jekyll and/or Hyde since they are choosing this episode to finally take off the wig.
