KeymasterDid anyone watch Joshua Sasse’s new show on the CW? I thought it was rather cute in that CW quirky way.
Plus…I can make beleice that Galavant fell down a rabbit hole, Alice style, and landed in CW land! It caused him to lose his mind and now he thinks the world is ending.

KeymasterI never read the books but this trailer is awesome.

KeymasterMy guess is Still Star Crossed is on hold, in the event that Conviction or another show bombs.
Since Conviction bombed out, I would predict that SSC goes on Monday night at 10 in the spring and Time After Time will get the Sunday night 9pm slot if S&L is only 10 episodes like it was in S1. Thursday is already set with Notorious giving way to Scandal and HTGAWM giving way to The Catch.

KeymasterI just finished episode 3 of S2. Wow–I never thought the day would come when Francis and Elizabeth look like the healthier of the two couples. Ross and Demelza really had each other’s back during the trial but the realities of life set back in once Ross is cleared. I must admit, I found Ross a bit…tiresome in the episode. I understand he’s under enormous financial strain but he was quite gruff with Demelza; add in the flirtatious and suggestive nature of his private conversation with Elizabeth and the almost lack of enthusiasm for news of a new child and I had my eyebrows raised quite a bit during this episode. I’m honestly not quite sure what to make of Ross; he’s right that all men and women glance at the opposite sex now and then but there was something more than innocent flirtation with Elizabeth. And with all the weighted history behind Ross and Elizabeth, my heart broke from Demelza hearing them outside the door.
At least I can still hate on Warleggy–though can we take a moment to appreciate how silly he looked boxing?
The Judd plot line was a bit too ridiculous for me even if it did provide some ample humor.
Caroline is clearly going to upset life in the little hamlet sooner rather than later. Poor Doctor.
The harvest had some gorgeous costumes, especially Elizabeth’s, and I like how they displayed some of the agrarian traditions (like Francis and his chant)

KeymasterConviction adjusted down to a .9
Ouch.
ABC must be praying that Time After Time and Still Star Crossed do really well or else their new dramas in 2016 is almost a total bust.

Keymaster1×03 Thoughts?
General: Overall I really liked this episode. Maybe my favorite of the season. Stories are progressing, there’s intrigue and weirdness but also fun (of the non campy type).
LIKED
–The opening scene was awesome.
–Overall, I really like how they’re doing Mad Hatter. He’s always been a bit of an immature villain, more childlike than adult. But so delusional and crazy!
–Penguin running for office makes a ton of sense–he’s already a corrupt mobster with power over the seedy underbelly of the city. Might as well have power over the whole of the city next.
–Normally I don’t care about anything that revolves around Baby!Batman and Baby!Catwoman because I hate the idea of putting children into romantic entanglements, even if it’s just foreshadowing established canon, but the friendship between these two is really sweet and slowly growing on me. I like that when Selena lost her friend, her first move was to go to Bruce for both aid and comfort and Bruce don’t try any sort of macho “I’ll find her!” act, he just simply listens.
–“She’s a bit sensitive to rejection…”
–Everything that is Nygma and Penguin. “Hello, old friend.” I about died of laughter the way Penguin slid out the window
MIXED
–As much sense as it does make…less than 24 hours after announcing his bid for the Mayorship, Penguin has an entire field office up and running including balloons and a banner!
DISLIKED
–Baby!Clone!Batman is named “5” because “11” was already taken, right?
–Why is everyone in Wayne Manor always doing things by candlelight at night?? They do have electricity.
–Oh for the love of…Mario is the son of Don Falcone and Lee doesn’t find this troubling at all?

KeymasterSeems like abc will have a rough season.
They are, yes. Which means that they will look to older shows that are at least steady with a built in audience. As low as the 1.1 is and as high a chance as we have for going fractional, I think OUAT is getting renewed because as of right now it look like ABC is going to lose at least two new shows–Notorious and Conviction. I also think they’re going to can AoS .

KeymasterThe final adjusted ratings are in for ‘A Bitter Drought’. We remained on a 1.1.
Hmm. So we might hold steady for a week or so. I’m really interested to see what episode 605 does with Aladdin and Jasmine having the centric
In other news, ABC’s newest Monday drama Conviction did 1.0 in the demo which is not a good way to start off. NBC’s Timeless won the hour.

KeymasterI watched it! I’m a sucker for anything sci-fi-y. I thought it was really intriguing with a good hook at the end. Definitely going to be a weekly event.

KeymasterMatthewPaul wrote: Jarod Joseph as Gus Really?! How surprising
But….isn’t Gus a mouse in the flashbacks and dead in present day? A voice over maybe? Have we seen talking animals on OUAT?
Nope, but let’s face it: if you’re gonna have talking animals, Cinderella is the best place to start.
