KeymasterPredictions Week 3: #SecretsAndLies & #Elementary Are Likely To Be Canceled; #Pitch & #Notorious Now “Toss Ups” https://t.co/b6pqQ6W3Mn
— TV Grim Reaper (@TVGrimReaper) October 3, 2016
The Reaper is still predicting we’re “likely to be renewed” (four smiley faces), probably because of the other ABC shows that are not fairing so well and the average for ABC are still high.

KeymasterThe EQ said it would rip everyone apart and while Charming’s dad’s murder is new information, it wouldn’t exactly cause strife except between Charming and his father’s murderer (probably Rumple, with whom the CharMills clan already have strife). So I think there must be another story that is untold. Belle seems unlikely since the EQ has sworn to leave her alone and could care less. My guess is that there’s something we don’t know about Snow as well.

KeymasterRatings are in for episode 6×02 “A Bitter Draught”
Demo: 1.1
Eyeballs: 3.67 million
Last week we had an original demo of 1.2 (decrease of .1) and then adjusted up to a 1.3 (decrease of .2)

KeymasterLike he said to the Count, he needs Snow and Charming alive and together and procreating
Yup. This felt like a giant flag to the audience that Rumple is behind Charming’s father for the reasons you stated.

KeymasterThe CGI rendered rooms seemed to be done slightly better?
The Count’s ballroom was surprisingly pretty. Normally scenes like that scream “green screen!” with its poor rendering.

Keymasterthey were doing fan service
Yes of course it was that. They’re never going to get rid of CS or Hook but they’re tired of hearing all the complaints from those who don’t like him so they are also trying to make him more tolerable to those of us who don’t like Hook/CS. It was a good apology and long since overdue but it’s only a tiny (tiny!) step toward him tolerable to me. He owes a lot of characters apologies, most of whom we will never see and some of whom we never really met (like any women he used his “tactic” of getting them drunk and going back to the Jolly Roger for sex).

KeymasterIf it turns out to be the Blue Fairy in the hood, I will laugh out loud with glee.
I’ll join you!

Keymaster*sigh* yeah it certainly look like they are doing away with the WL hints of Ana being one of the step-sisters.

Keymastermaybe she didn’t think it was necessary because David had made peace with his father’s demise
Well this I think is more dependent on how his death happened. If Hook killed him for example, I think that would have come up at some point. I am really going to guess his dad faked his own death and escaped to the untold story land to get away from something. And EQ knows what it is.
That’s a good point because I was expecting the EQ to say “did you ever wonder if he’s really dead!” which would be in line with what so many of us were speculating over the summer, but that’s not what she said. She made it sound like Charming’s father is in fact dead (as dead as one can be on this show) but that the manner of his death is in question, not the actual reality of his death.

KeymasterI’m still inclined to think it’s EQ. 6×2 established that Regina/EQ is an excellent swordswoman. That is like laying a trail you intend you hike.
True, but the other option is that it’s a red herring because A and E love themselves a big ol’ Tweetable twist. Everything is pointing to the EQ: the swordfighting, the S1 feel, Emma realizing that Regina isn’t in her vision and voicing her concern that it’s the EQ under the hood. Which honestly is a big part of what’s making me believe it’s not the EQ. Why the hood? We know she’s our arc villain (at least one of them) so it’s not to stun the audience. The heroes know she’s in town now too so it wouldn’t be a shock to them either.
