But they have proven that dead can in fact be dead when they want it to be. Example, Robin Hood. They obliterated him. With Emma, they could make something up like Saviors can’t be brought back once they have served their purpose or something. If you are at the point of thinking that if Emma died, then so what…well I’m not sure why you still enjoy watching the show. That would certainly ruin it for me.
Or was Hades lying….muahahah.

That’s kind of my point though, they’ve shattered dead is dead forever on this show unless the writers absolutely want someone to stay dead for other story reasons. And Emma is still someone they like writing, someone they enjoy playing with, and she’s still the life blood of this show. Death doesn’t hold any sort of sway on this show anymore because unless the writers are bored there is a permanent way to bring them back now.
I do think that she COULD die, in a sacrificial saviorish fashion, but saviors in media are also more often than not resurrected.
She could absolutely but like you allude to–there’s probable and possible. It’s possible Emma will die…but it’s not very probable. And I would say there is even a greater chance of her dying if they hadn’t just done her katabasis. But they did it–for an entire season, first as a metaphor and then literally.

After six years I should not have to go looking for answers to basic questions like “when did Zelena and Regina decide to live together”
I’m okay with them skipping past the basic stuff. It’s like the “How come we never see any bathrooms on the Enterprise?” question. I think R&Z’s earlier conversation would have been straightforward, without drama, and it’s completely implied by what we did see on screen. It’s not like the question of “What happened with Will and Anastasia?”, which we’re still trying to figure out and despairing of ever seeing resolved.
Difference of opinion, I guess, because two sisters who just kissed and made up (somewhat) but still have all this weighted history between them–like sleeping with the same man, who just died because of one of the sister’s boyfriend–don’t have a rational conversation about living together. Especially given the time constraints of the show and that Robin died like…yesterday. That’s not a basic conversation to me. That is an actual emotional conversation that we should see.
But I’m not saying I want to see the basic stuff either–like Regina calling to ask Snow to come over–god no. That’s boring as sin. But the way the writers are making Snow, for example, this pop up character who’s only purpose is to be a shoulder for another..irks me. It speaks to how they view the characters. Like, I would have liked to have seen Snow and Charming actually going to Jiminiy and explaining why they think it’s a good idea that the Cricket go talk to Emma–their fears as parents, their guilt over the fact that they never asked for his help before, wondering if the entire town doesn’t need some therapy, their fears over if Baby Snowflake will have the same problems, ect ect.
Maybe I’m being nitpicky but scenes just felt cobbled together without any sort of glue or direction. Just my opinion though. My rating for the episode doesn’t really change–I still thought it was rather subdue, dull and without any real stakes by episode end.

Perhaps Hyde or somebody else found his bottle? Hyde being the one to release him would make sense, if he intentionally led Emma to the Oracle knowing that she was really Jafar.
Maybe Jafar’s bottle got transported to the Land of Untold Stories after WL. But the problem is if the Jafar/Aladdin story is after WL, how did Jafar get out of the Land of Untold Stories?

That’s interesting. It’s also pretty early so I wonder how his prediction will change once we get more numbers.
