KeymasterUnless the show is suggesting that True Love must be perfect in order to be True Love.
I think the Zades kiss last season blew this notion out of the water. As for the rest of your questions, there’s a couple of possible answers. 1) The definition of True Love, and therefore TLK keeps changing on this show in order to provide the writers with convenient plot solutions. 2) They are saving up for a big, final, game-changing RumBelle TLK for the series endgame and this is why the couple haven’t been allowed one yet.
Honestly, it’s probably both of those.

KeymasterThey wanted to wake Belle but not repair the RumBelle relationship by having Rumple administer TLK.
This is something that continues to irk me. What’s so wrong with having Rumple administer a successful TLK? They can still be True Loves even if their relationship is on the rocks and there’s hurt on both sides. They even keep saying “I know you love me!” or something along those lines. It can still be true love but and not be perfect or what either party wants anymore. Have Rumple be the one to wake Belle with TLK but then have Belle say that she still doesn’t want a relationship anymore. Unless the show is suggesting that True Love must be perfect in order to be True Love.

KeymasterThe scenes in Rumple’s dream castle. These just seemed like a big retcon of ‘Skin Deep’. The whole point of SD was that Belle WASN’T terrified of Rumple. She was brave, she was calm, she even talked back to him. The way it was presented in this episode makes it implausible that she would ever have fallen in love with him. They didn’t need to mess with SD as it was a beautiful episode.
THIS.
They clearly need to rewatch Skin Deep, Lacey and even Heroes and Villains. As for the Robin Hood debacle–I agree with Watcher and others who think the same. That line–which is in line with what they were saying at SDCC–was written after they saw just how badly the fandom reacted and they’re hoping everyone accepts Henry’s line and doesn’t think too hard about it.

KeymasterI feel ripped off tbh. Did Jon Hamm or Last Man on Earth even end up trending?
Not that I saw

KeymasterI’m surprised the sword wasn’t wiggly, to go along with the robe. I took that vision to be Emma struggling against her own dark nature, which is kind of a stale old story now, but since that’s the theme of this season, and they’re talking about saviors who can never, ever let themselves slip up even once, Emma has a metaphor for that.
That’s what I think, more or less, except it’s not Emma’s dark nature it’s her insecure nature, the one that puts up walls when she is hurt or scared. I think if Emma gets split like Regina it won’t be he and the Dark Swan, it’ll be our Emma and basically her insecurities in bodily form.
There is no death, there are no stakes, Emma will be fine and we lose interest.
Said the same thing in another thread. You’re right; there are no real stakes here.

KeymasterFamily history.
What sort of family history? Father/son or nephew/uncle?

KeymasterCould the person under the hood be someone we’ve met before or someone new who will be introduced? EK: It could be someone we’ve met before. I definitely would say it is somebody we’ve met before. AH: Or someone we haven’t met yet. EK: Whoever is in the hood is going to be a mystery.
…….So…yes? No? Eddy literally gives two conflicting answers.
I’m willing to put a cookie down that A and E don’t even know yet

KeymasterHow did Aladdin become a Savior? Where is Jasmine? What kind of history do Aladdin Jafar have? Where does this fit in Jafar’s own history with regards to Wonderland?
1) I think Aladdin became a Savior by virtue of deed and not with any sort of blood, true love connection unlike Emma. His magic is not natural like Emma’s but learned, like Regina’s. Maybe we’ll learn that there are different types of Saviors–everyday ones and mythical ones
2) Jasmine is in the Land of Untold Stories–now in SB. I have no idea why
3) The writers will pretend that Jafar was never in WL.

I love me some Jon Hamm but that feels really anti-climatic

KeymasterEasy answer to question: no. This is my issue with the seasonal problem: I don’t for a single second believe Emma Swan will actually die. There are really no stakes here.
What if it’s the final season?
I stand by what I said in any case. I don’t think A and E have the guts to kill off Emma while still spouting that their show is about hope and family.
