KeymasterYeah, I think it’ going to come down to that candle. But maybe the ring will play a part in some future episode.

KeymasterThat man is such a tease. The last pic he tweeted was a Rumbelle pic and he’s just like all casual with it while the fan base dissolves into hysterics.

So, magic comes from an emotional place, which makes sense of why Emma, as true love incarnate, has so much magical potential. Love is one of the most powerful emotions. Also, the first time Regina used magic was when she was so angry she pushed her mother through the looking glass at Rumple’s prompting.
Now imagine what happens when you take Regina and Emma, two incredibly powerful women, fighting for the love of their son. BOOM.

KeymasterMy phone keeps going off every five seconds between the cast members and @ONCEABC.
This is about to get intense.

KeymasterWell, that’s just proof right there that Ariel is going to be in Neveland! I hope she appears within the first five episodes.

KeymasterSeems like everyone is hoping on the “live tweet” bandwagon. Charming, Snow, Belle, Jane Espenson, Red are all live tweeting during the broadcast. Some West Coast, Some East Coast.
If you’re like me and you get their tweets sent directly to your phone, prepare for explosions.
I may toss my phone across the room and read their tweets after the airing. 😆"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl

I don’t know if anyone has said anything about this already, but here goes a thought: In the scene in which Mr. Gold talks to Belle on the phone, I don’t remember if it was on the first ten minutes or on a sneak peek but the point is, they were in the shop. The shop is in Storybrooke, and in Storybrooke there is magic. Why didn’t Rumple just use it to heal?
Perhaps it is the same incurable poison that Cora used to poison Eva, and it can’t be cured with conventional magic. The candle could really be the only way to save him.
I like it. It’s great. Perfect parallel especially if the candle is going to make a reappearance. Snow faces the same choice but makes a different decision.

That’s….a fantastic question. Maybe he’s too far gone at that point and the only way to save him is with the candle? That is a pretty big plot hole, but it’s Jane Espenson so I’m hoping she’ll give some explanation.
