my thoughts briefly:
– with that amount of spoilers, they might release the entire episode already, wouldn’t makeYup, too much spoiler kill the spoiler. I can’t believe they released nine minutes of the episode, what’s up with them?
Well we’ve been in a small rating slump. They want to really pump up this episode since it’s really the biggest of the season. We’re assured a season three, but the numbers do need to come up. Hence why they’ve gone almost overboard with everything. Tweets, pics, stuff at GetGlue (I think that’s what it is called, I don’t use it) and the first 8.5 mins of the show. They want people who love the show but who watch it Monday’s instead on Hulu or ABC.com to watch it Sunday that the numbers go up. We started the season with 3.0 rating’s share and last week, before the numbers were adjusted slightly up, it was a 2.2 or 2.3. So, we need to build some momentum if we want a full season renewal.
EDIT: after I wrote the above, @ONCEABC tweeted a sneak peak of the script, but it’s Emma’s line to Gold: “You’re Henry’s grandfather. You’re family now and I’m going to save you.” from the sneak peak. But this proves my point, I think: they want the ratings for this episode to be high, at least 8million view and at least a 2.5 ratings share. I don’t want to say that there’s a lot riding on this episode, but a sizable jump in numbers would not be unwelcome.

Yup. Henry Sr is Regina’s father and tonight we’ll get the final proof and we can forget this chapter in our lives when we thought that Rumple might have fathered Regina and many of us were like “UHHHHHH. No.”
While everyone involved in the show sat back and laughed at us, because DUH the biggest clue as to who Regina’s bio dad is had been staring us in the face since we first saw Henry Sr last season. 😆 I guess it’s an issue that people were so apprehensive about, that we all just overlooked the obvious in our state of panic.
I KNOW! It’s the second season and finally we were like, “oh! let’s go look at the actors!”
We were looking at family trees, and timelines, and interactions between the two, and character dynamics and all we needed to do was go to IMDB.com."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl

A few of us were just discussing the Henry actors in another thread, and I couldn’t believe it hadn’t occurred to me…or to anyone else it seems, because I don’t recall it being mentioned in all the Regina’s bio dad speculation…the actor who plays Old Henry, is Latino, (as is the guy who plays Young Henry, and the actor playing King Xavier is Portuguese). Lana is Latina. Rumple’s played by a Scot. Case closed?

KeymasterWhat if not everyone’s memories were erased, there was a fluke and Owen and his mom still had their memories and they tried to make a break for it. The mother died and Owen was brought back to SB, but at some point he escaped and fled, to come back as Greg. If he was super young at the time, he might have convinced himself later in life that all that he believed was untrue (having two lives in your head…the life you thought you knew and the life everyone else tells you that you need to have) or the trauma of losing his mom could have blocked out the FTL memories. That would help the theory that he might be the Wizard of Oz.

KeymasterI thought they were setting up Eva to be Henry’s intended, but the ball scene in the extended sneak peak seems to show that the King was trying to marry Henry off to anyone with enough money. Eva appears in just the first little bit, but I suppose she could come back later in the story so that Cora's hatred of her isn't just their one interaction when Eva trips her.

I do see a resemblance now. Poor Henry, the years of being married to a witch like Cora made him look hunched over and defeated. To think that he started out life so kind, noble, and handsome only to become a whisper of his former self, though he did maintain his compassionate heart right up until the very end when Regina murdered him. Regina, the daughter he raised with paternal love and affection, killed him. I think he, more than anyone else, was a true victim of Cora’s wickedness and Regina’s decent into evilness. 😥
Henry Sr. really got the short end of the straw, didn’t he? And we still don’t know how he got to Wonderland, but I’m guessing it wasn’t for tea with the missus.

KeymasterThe two don’t need to be exclusive do they? If the curse wasn’t working at 100% in the first week then who is to say Owen and Ben didn’t enter the town, only to have Graham (under the order of Regina) chase them out again, but then someone crashes.
Seems a bit of a stretch, I know.

KeymasterI think all this just disproved Rumple as Regina’s father theory. *happy dance*
Is it 8pm yet?

KeymasterHenry Sr. is portrayed by Jose Anthony Perez (Tony Perez) which is Latino sounding to me, but he was born in Virgina so he might look as Latino as the man they picked to play Young Henry Sr and King Xavier.
