Didn’t they filmed a car chase scene through SB for this ep, with Sheriff Graham chasing someone? I’m guessing it was this car, and it was the first time anyone tried to leave town, and they ended up going BAM at the borderline, and thus, the legend of bad things happening when people try to leave town was born.

Awww man. That’s very plausible and now the Owen/Ben (one of which is secretly Greg) theory doesn’t look so solid.
But the pics of the car chase, made it look like Graham was still the town proper. And who is he chasing???

FWIW, the guy they’ve cast as Prince Henry is Latino, which makes me think that he is indeed Regina’s bio-dad. Which, now that I’m thinking about it, probably rules out George being an older sibling to Henry, as we’ve speculated, with Cora’s “5th in line to the throne” talk. Unless it’s an older sister, and George married her to join that particular royal line, so he’s a brother-in-law to Henry. Anyway, basically, a very definitely Latino young Prince Henry seems to indicate to me that Regina will be related to him by blood, which means we don’t have to worry about Rumple being the baby daddy. I hope.

Oooooh. Spot on. And the King we saw was definitely Latino, his accent was thicker than the guy playing Henry, all which point to Regina being Henry’s.
And you may be right about the George thing. If it’s not a Prince who’s heir to the throne, but George’s wife, that would allow the similarities of kingdoms (being poor) to play out without making us all scratch our head about family trees. Gotta wonder though, if George’s wife is the Heir, who are the other siblings? Did Cora really kill them all at some point? Or do they rule kingdoms we haven’t encountered? Perhaps they rule in other realms?

With every report that keeps coming out, I grow more and more anxious for this episode, which really makes no sense given the amount of spoilers I read….

There are those pics from 2×19 where the two of them are sitting on a bench together. I think Regina’s road to redemption is going to a be a long one, and even if she get’s there, I don’t know if she and Emma will ever be best friends. But I do believe that eventually they will come to an understanding about both being in his life.

It’s interesting that they don’t flat out dismiss the theory of Rumple being Regina’s father. At the very least, it seems they want to tease the audience with the idea.

Yeah, I feel like they’ve been teasing this idea since the beginning of season 2 with 2×2 “We Are Both” when Rumple told Regina in FTL that he knew her when she was “more portable.” I personally really really really hate this idea. The relationship between them was so flirtatious in the beginning, especially in We Are Both and more so during Rumple’s training of Regina in The Doctor. I also think it would be a complete 180 on Rumple’s character: for someone who has spent 250+ years looking for his child, he wouldn’t treat his other child the way he treated Regina. I know the argument could go that he didn’t know, but it’s Rumple. He knows an awful lot.

We will know for sure after tonight, but I don’t think Rumple is Regina’s father. It would be too much crazy.

Someone said on another forum that Cora stole the red dress and you can see that in the promo, I must have missed that did anyone else ❓

I didn’t see that. But it doesn’t really surprise me. It’s a pretty hot dress, how did someone in rags manage to get that?

Edit: she does steal the mask though. The King also says it’s a stolen dress, so apparently she did steal it.

But I still haven’t figured out where I know that masquerade ball story from.

Me either. And it’s really bothering me. But I’m glad others have heard something along the same lines and I’m not crazy.

I thought that was the episode of the first week, but Henry got adopted 18 years later. Why should the car crash has something to do with adopting a child almost 2 decades later. I mean Regina always wanted to adopt a child. Even in the enchanted forest she wanted Hansel and Gretel, but they refused, because they loved their dad and know that she was evil (how many children were already killed by this task?). So she seperated them and give the children a harsh live until Emma comes, but Regina wanted to be a mum before the curse.

Good point. And you’re right, it does take place the first week of the curse, but somehow this episode relates how Regina decides to adopt Henry, whether that’s 18 yrs later or within the first week and then it took a long time. And the title card seems to suggest that someone from the Outside crashed into SB. Has Regina had any interaction with Greg, has she been made aware of what happened with him? I don’t think she has, cause she’s been so wrapped up in what’s going on with Cora. I think Greg’s been trying to find a way back to SB for a long time.

Yup. This is the title card. We’ve been discussing it over here: https://oncepodcast.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=87&t=3072
I think it has a lot of parallels to when Greg crashed his car in “The Outsider”
