KeymasterPretty cool, huh? Slurpeez posted most of these over in the photo thread (https://oncepodcast.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=86&t=3115) and we’ve been discussing them a lot over there!

KeymasterYeah we got spoiled in the fall. I really hope ABC decides not to do the second half of three the same way. It’s been brutal, all these breaks (I know season 1 was the same, but for some reason, this time around it feels worse.)

My money is on a Young Greg. Have we seen him in actual Storybrooke? Or just on set? To me, that’s a big difference. If he’s in SB, then he’s a FTL character, but if he’s just on set, it could be outside the town and I think we’re going to see that Greg has some history with SB.
I think I saw somewhere that he was in a scene with Regina and since this is the flashback episode, Owen might be the little boy who inspired Regina to adopt.
Hmmm. Ok. Well, if the curse was still pretty wonky the first week, people could have left without consequence. Except that if “Owen” is the boy who inspired Regina to adpot, that was 11 years ago and we assume the Curse was set in stone by that point.

Keymaster4 or 5 weeks off??? But. How am I supposed to survive?

KeymasterI think the world comes to SB and it creates TONS of problems, and so they have to flee to Neverland. But, that doesn’t mean the world doesn’t come with them. Something tells me Greg finds his way to Neverland with our heroes. (and possibly Her)

KeymasterYeah that could be too. Except that maybe when Henry married Cora, Eva wanted nothing more to do with her brother. Maybe she was so angry he took Cora for his wife that she never helped him or allowed Leopold to meet her brother or sister-in-law.
This is totally possible. I think it’s one or the other for sure. Cora did seem to have a particular hatred for Eva, beyond just “you’re Queen and I’m not.” Perhaps after Henry and Cora lose the kingdom, she and Henry expect Eva to come to their rescue, but Eva flatly denies to help, once again saying that Cora isn’t worthy of her help because she’s the Miller’s Daughter. (except does that really fit with how they portrayed Evan in The Queen is Dead, all subjects should be loved…?)

Keymaster1) That red dress is awesome.
2) With regards to Eva: being Henry’s sister makes sense, except when Henry loses his throne, Eva doesn’t step in to help, and her husband, Leopold, doesn’t seem to recognize Henry or Cora. Which I think is problematic. I think Eva might Henry’s intended bride, until Cora steps in (and I think there’s a history with Cora and Eva)
3) If he’s teaching her magic before the ball happens, then how does she summon him? Or does he seek her out? Does he prompt her to want to marry the Prince (thus manipulating Cora and this situation in order to get Regina), or does she somehow get Rumple to her and make the deal.GAH.

If “Owen” is Greg, then I have to wonder: is it a coincidence that he found himself back in SB again? Probably not. If he wasn’t an original inhabitant, but somehow became aware of SB as a kid, he may have been trying to find his way back there. I wonder if “HER” knows anything about SB prior to Greg sending her the video of Regina.
I agree that Greg has intentionally returned to SB, because he was there as a boy. Also, if I had to guess, HER is someone significant, and I don’t just mean Greg’s significant other. She could be someone mythical herself, from another land like Oz, and she sent Greg to learn more about the magic Greg recalled seeing from childhood. That way the theory about Greg being adult Owen, the boy who inspired Regina to adopt Henry, could still be reconciled with the idea of Greg being the wizard of Oz, who is from our world.
H and K said that in this episode we’d be seeing the first week of cursed SB, so I’m going to guess that the curse wasn’t working fully for the first week or so. Lots kinks, ect, which would help explain how an otherworldly character got out of SB when all along we’ve been told that bad things happen to those who tried to leave cursed SB.
As regards Oz: I’m in love with the idea that we could go to Oz soon (Wizard of Oz is one of my very favorite movie), but what if Greg isnt’ Oz YET? What if he’s from there, came to SB with the curse, left at a young age, is now back, and I’m going to guess he finds himself traveling to Neverland with our heroes by season end, and then somehow becomes Oz. What this rests on is figuring out how the Curse affected all the other lands. I think we assume/know that those who had dealings with Regina (Jefferson, Frankenstein) from other lands came through b/c they had dealings with her, but what we don’t know yet is how lands/people that had never been in contact with Regina were affected. Seeing Neveland at the end of 2 is going to help here a lot.
Ok, I just went off on several tangents. Sorry! 🙂"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterNext season, I’d like to see Regina and Rumple really get into it over what he did to her. He needs to be taken to task for all that manipulation (and I say this as someone who is utterly devoted to Rumple). Regina, in her own path to redemption, also needs to recognize that while Rumple was totally manipulating her, she made terrible choices too. She could have walked away several times (Snow saved her life and let her go and Regina still couldn’t pass up revenge). Next season = redemption season?
