Snow’s kingdom is the only option. Look at this way: Cora has a child, Regina. King George and his wife do not, instead they take Prince James (who is much younger than Regina and is the same age as Snow). Until Prince James, George’s kingdom had no heir for Cora to wed Regina off to, and by the time they got James, Regina was too old to marry the heir.
The other option is that Cora was married to King George at one point. She had Regina, and guessed Rumple’s name, thus keeping the child. She then willingly took the poison to become barren and so escape giving another child to Rumple. However, King George wanted a boy for an heir, and so divorced Cora and adopted Prince James. Thus, Cora remarried Henry Sr. and made sure Regina married another king, Leopold, since she believed Regina had been denied her birth-right to rule by King George, Regina’s father.
In two weeks, Slurpeez, one of us will finally be right 🙂
The one thing about your theory I’m not sold on totally is the “guessing of the name.” Rumple has an odd habit of introducing himself to people, and it wouldn’t explain how Cora found out about the power of the dagger.[adrotate group="5"]"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl

I really hope she does it to cover her own arse because August knows too much about her and is about to blab. If losing August serves the purpose of elaborating on Blue’s shady nature, then it’ll be easier for me to take.
I agree. If it’s some kind of do-good, let him try his life over again thing, I’m not going to be thrilled.

KeymasterSnow’s kingdom is the only option. Look at this way: Cora has a child, Regina. Until Prince James, George’s kingdom had no heir for Cora to wed Regina off to, and by the time they got James, Regina was too old to marry the heir. The only option was Leopold, whose wife Eva died (and we’re going to see how that happened very soon!) Cora is under the impression that she controls Regina (which, let’s face it, up until Regina meets Rumple, she does). She forces Regina to marry Leopold and probably would have been the real power behind the throne even through Regina was technically “Queen”

Yeah, I’m pretty sure a memory wipe will be part of the process just as Rumple described when he offered to turn back time for Bae.
Yeah, Rumple’s mention of what he wanted to do to Bae was them establishing that it’s possible, so it won’t seem so completely random when it happens to August in this ep.
And he offered to turn back the clock for Smee, make him a little boy again. So that won’t seem so odd either. Except that from the pics it looks like it’s the BF doing the magic and not Rumple. I call hidden agenda!

So, Tamara is Neal’s finance, eh? I am almost 99.99999% sure that engagement is going to end in disatser. Writers, I see right through you. You know Swanfire is engame. 😀
From your fingers to the writers ears. 🙂
You know they’ll drag this out for awhile. I agree that SwanFire is endgame but it’s not going to happen until at least season 3. So we, the fans, have to keep the faith.

KeymasterHe’s been in a lot! In my opinion he often makes tv shows or movies that aren’t stellar actually good. For example: I’m a pretty big sci-fi nerd and followed all Stargate franchise. So when they came out with SG:Universe I was excited to see what it would do. Well, in my opinion, it was pretty terrible. BUT RC playing Dr. Nick Rush was the only good part of it. He plays the anti-hero so well, it made the show bearable, if only for two seasons.
I could listen to him talk all day long. It’s that accent. *swoon*"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterI wondered if it was a throne too! I still say Henry Sr was the heir to an impovrished kingdom and Cora told him she could spin straw into gold in order to become his Queen. Enter Rumple with a deal: gold for baby Regina. But Cora will break the deal (I think we’re going to see her finding his dagger and using it to control him). Rumple’s revenge? Having George overtake the kingdom. We know George’s kingdom is poor and in need of gold.

KeymasterI think we are going to see Cora as a much worse villain than Regina in this episode. Whereas the writers gave us “The Stable Boy” to show us what Regina was like before Cora killed Daniel (and they gave us “A Desperate Soul” to humanize Rumple) I think this episode is going to show that Cora has always been power hungry and manipulative. They won’t make her a sympathetic figure in her first flashback episode.

Remember when Regina went to get her Dad’s heart with the Mad Hatter and he made the comment that he was with the Queen and Cora got mad and said that she was the only Queen, I wonder if that ties into anything? 😕
I think it definitely does! I think Cora was Queen of Henry Sr. (now George’s) kingdom for all of 5 seconds before Rumple got his revenge on her and had George overthrow it. But those brief moments as Queen made Cora even more power hungry and so she set lots of plans into motion so that one day she could rule again (I think she was happy to let Regina have the title of Queen when she married Leopold, but I think Cora would have really been running the show)
