KeymasterI would love to see Cyrus again (and if Anastasia is coming back, or being referenced….).
But I keep thinking that they’ll make Jafar Aladdin’s Genie. And maybe twist the story so that Aladdin granted Jafar is freedom (like Aladdin does to Genie at the end of the Disney movie) only to have Jafar betray him.

KeymasterEmma learns a life-altering secret that could have serious consequences for her family and loved ones. While the heroes grapple with what Emma is confronting,
That’s she not the only Savior? Or that Saviors are destined for non-happily ever afters?

KeymasterI really really hope they get this story right!!! Wonder if we’ll see the Genie or not?
I kinda doubt it. In one of the recent Hot Seats they made it sound like they weren’t going to touch the Genie.

KeymasterI still wonder if episode 4 will be the end of Jekyll/Hyde and the Aladdin portion is teased in 4 and really takes off in 5

Keymaster1×7 Thoughts
–I rolled my eyes during most of this episode
–Why is anyone doing anything?? I mean that seriously. Damon is “powerless” so he joins a cult to get power (that ends in a ritual suicide!) But that simplifies to an absurd extent why people feel called to join some sort of religion, cult, spiritual movement. We never got any insight to Damon whatsoever except “bad guy” and a vague throwaway line about his father not being around as if that paltry excuse is supposed to inform my understanding of his character. And Boyd….is doing all this….because? Seriously what was his motivation for anything? Why is he the Teacher? How did he learn any of this? Why was he drawn to it?
–Amy cuts herself to the extent that the tiny stream the masked men were wadding in was full of her blood. And she didn’t die or pass out. That’s not how the human body works?
–I am very confused on the how this cave works. There’s a little wadding stream, but Amy fell into a giant lake that is deep enough to house a demon/hand/thing? And of course they had a rope pully. I’m sure that’s a natural formation of the cave.
–Did they order Amy to put on her pretty white gown? How does the white gown help?
–Oh shock. The Older Cop is the Teacher. Apparently his name was Boyd. I actually didn’t know that since his screen time has been minimal and his influence on the narrative has been non existent.
–Blair and Drew were the only really good thing about this episode.
–“You want to bring violent criminals into a camp…with kids?” Holy crap, someone remembered there are kids at this camp.
