This! Also, given Rumple’s considerable skillz, and the fact that Cora wasn’t at the height of her power yet back then, I don’t buy that she’d be able to fool him and fake a magical paternity test. So if they want to go this route and have me believe it, they’d better have a super cool trick up their sleeves.
I agree. I think this has been a MASSIVE red herring on the part of H and K and the other writers to make us think Regina and Rumple are related, but while I’m willing to concede that Henry Sr may not be Regina’s father, it can’t be Rumple for all the reasons people have said. Plus, my favorite reason: it would make the already messed up family tree even more complicated and messed up

There’s so much packed into this last half of the season: Rumple/Bae; Rumple/Belle; Emma/Nealfire; Hook/Regina/Cora; Cora/Rumple; The Town/Axis of Evil; Greg Mendell and now FTL of the present??

We know he was involved with obtaining Henry, but I always assumed there was a go between, because no one could leave SB. In my head it played out this way: The BF and August have been working together. Someone August or the BF learn of Emma’s pregnancy and August brings baby Henry to the BF (in my version the BF has had her memories for a long time, maybe the whole time) and then the BF gives the baby to Rumple to give him to Regina. It makes the most sense to me that Mother Superior would be the one handling an adoption.
