KeymasterAWWWW! Grandpastiltskin!!! I feel like that is going to be a really great relationship, I’m sure Henry already reminds Rumple of Bae and if Nealfire turns out to be true, Rumple will be a great grandpapa.

KeymasterNew York skyline. Nice. I wish we had a synopsis for this one. I want to know if we’ll be following Nealfire through the vortex he disappeared into in The Return so we can see what his life was, where he ended up, WHEN he ended up, and if he made any stops along the way *cough Neverland cough*

KeymasterWow great catch!!! Nealfire 🙂 There is pretty much no denying it at this point, I feel.

KeymasterOh so you believe there is an actual original Dark One living somewhere else pulling the strings on Rumple ?
No no no no. 🙂 I mean, TLK will break Rumple’s curse (make him not the Dark One anymore) but still keep him alive. The other option for Rumple to no longer be the Dark One is for him to die by the dagger.
In your opinion is true love not unconditional then ? or do I misunderstand.
I feel like you are still saying the same thing as me. He loves Belle and Bae, but there is something clouding his love- cowardice, need for power, suspicion…so then it is not true and pure as long as there is something in his way holding him back preventing him from giving and recieving that true love.I think I misunderstood what you were saying about unconditional love. True love is unconditional and I do think he loves them unconditionally, but it’s hard for him to show it because of his cowardice. Apologies
I don’t know how Call sheets work but it doesn’t even have Robert Carlyle on the actual scene, his number is 3 and I don’t see it there. Does that mean that Rumple won’t be in this fight for power? It seems he should be I mean it is his dagger right
Great question. Is Rumple even in town?? This episode takes place so soon after Manhattan that I was surprised Rumple, Emma, and hopefully Nealfire were in SB so quickly.

KeymasterThat pink dress. I’d wear that. 🙂
Eva and Snow Flake look a lot alike. They really nailed that.

KeymasterI think TLK is the only thing that breaks the Dark One’s curse, while keeping the actual Dark One alive, which I think may be the ultimate end game of Rumple and Belle. In Skin Deep when she kisses him, he begins to revert back to a man–his skin changes to its normal white, his voices changes to what we know as Mr Gold’s voice. I’m betting he wouldn’t have his power anymore, he would just be Rumplestiltskin.
There’s no room for true love there. And Rumple loves Belle and Bae yes, but not unconditionally like you would think true love is unconditional.
I very respectfully disagree with you. He did love them both, but it was clouded by the curse and his cowardice. If there is something that describes Rumple’s character it’s not his “evilness” or his ability to manipulate, it’s that he is a coward with a capital C. I think in the very moment he loses Bae he realizes that there is something he loves more than his power; and it’s something Belle recognizes too in Skin Deep when he says “My power means more to me than you” and she instantly replies “No it doesn’t” and then that beautiful moment when as she walks out of his life, Rumple’s eyes close and you know that he knows she is right. He does love her, even if she’s crazy and has no memories, and as far as Bae goes one of the themes of this show I would argue–especially this season–is parental love and who are good at it (Snow/Charming/Emma after a fashion) who are bad at it (Cora) but more importantly people like Regina and Rumple who are good at BUT make really terrible mistakes. Look at the reasons why Rumple became the Dark One. It wasn’t because he really wanted to be evil, it was for his son. He took on a curse he didn’t fully understand because of the love he has for his son. When Rumple thought August was Bae, he begged for his forgiveness, going so far as to give him the dagger, the sign of all his power. To me, Rumple’s undying love for his son is something that drives this show. For all that the curse is Regina’s “happy ending” against Snow and Charming, it’s really Rumple’s way to demonstrate his love for his son. I’ve often wondered if once he finds Bae, if Rumple won’t give up magic, or at least try. While I ultimatly think he won’t give up his power because you need it in a fight against “evil” or whoever is the baddie of the season, I think his desire to be a man again is what’s going to become paramount once he has Bae and Belle. While he is the Dark One and is curse he doesn’t think himself a man (he tells Belle that in Skin Deep) but once he has his son and Belle, I think his heart’s desire will be to be human again, normal even.

KeymasterThe only problem with the Beauty and the Beast idea, like a few people have said, is that it would happen REALLY fast. It would mean that Belle would have to fall back in love with Rumple in about two episodes (since we know Rumple is looking for Bae in at least “Tiny” and “Manhattan”) Plus, if they do it now they could never do it again, because it’s a very emotional thing that I think would only play out once to be effective on the viewers. So I like Phee’s suggestion that maybe because magic is different here the dagger won’t work in the same way.
Also, I’m not sure I like the idea of them killing Cora in this episode. They have so much story to tell: her connection with Rumple and I think they have to tell us more about her time in Wonderland, not to mention where her heart is and how many lands she’s been to and if she made alliances there (she told Hook she has traveled to too many lands to be stopped by Emma/Snow) I can see them taking Cora to the either the penultimate or season finale."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterI don’t think they’ll kill Rumple, however I can see this going very Beauty and Beast. Cora stabs him with the dagger, and he starts to die, but Belle–who has slowly come to remember him, trust him, and love him–saves him with True Love’s Kiss.

Can someone explain this to me??? This looks amazing.
Are they going after the dagger? Is that what is in Gold’s shop!?!?
😯 Egad!
There is an answer to your question, but only read if you want to be seriously spoiled!
And devestated! I saw that coming way back, but it hurts so much I don't like thinking about it. 😥
If the writers touch one hair on precious Bobby's head I swear I'll stop watching “Once” and for all! Surely, the writers wouldn't really dream of killing off Rumple though, right? He's too central and too much a fan-favorite. He's the reason so many of us are enthralled with this show, because as awesome as the rest of the cast is, Rorbert Carlyle is a rock-star actor. They wouldn't dare. The fans would riot! They know RC is a big reason why people tune in.They wouldn't do that to us. But what if it plays out like in the movie Beauty and the Beast.Cora stabs him but Belle, having learn to trust and re-fall in love with Rumple, saves him with true love's kiss. Tell me this can happen. *freaking out*
