^yeah. And in the opening scene of “Broken” he seemed to be doing pretty well for himself. Snappy dresser, living in a big city. And he has a bit of a “baby” face.

I think the way this show is written it’s much more poetically powerful to make this Bae; he was charming and cute and every bit a fast quick witted talked as Rumple (at least in the preview). For such a powerful being, it makes me very suspicious that a curse (even the Dark Curse) could totally take away her memory. She is supposed to be the most powerful magic and oldest in the land.

I think she lied to Bae about where she was sending him for her own purposes; I think her final preparations before the curse is going to be something HUGE; and I’ve been wondering for a long time “why was magic running out??” the last bean in the EF went to Bae apparently, the tree that became the wardrobe was the last of it’s kind. What if she’s been using magic for nefarious projects? I just don’t trust her.

It’s just going to take a long road, which I am fine with, given how fast they’ve made Regina’s arc (which I’m not happy about, way too fast!). He is becoming more honest and open with himself and with those he loves, but it’s not like he’s one of the “good guys” now (if we can even talk about good and bad in a show so smartly and intricately written as OUaT)

I think the story is going to go something like this: Neal and Emma fall in love and try to make a life together, Emma gets pregnant, Neal freaks and leaves (with Emma calling him a coward which really hurts since he is also Bae), Emma goes back to her life of crime, gets caught, gives birth to Henry in jail, and we know what happens from there.
