KeymasterI say we let Gold beat him with his cane-o-pain.

KeymasterIf Belle saves Rumple a la Beauty and the Beast, someone is going to have to pick me up off the floor cause I’ll have died in a cascade of sadness.
However, I don’t think the writers will let Rumple die. He’s too….beloved. He needs redemption. Honest redemption. I think his road with Bae is going to be long (loooooooooong) but it’s a road that will be worth watching instead of going straight to murder.

KeymasterI get the feeling that should Cora ever make it to SB with Hook, it’s going to be Hook/Cora vs Rumple/Regina/all of SB. And that will take up most of season two after the Xmas break, and then season two can end with the new curse being lifted and the forces of Rumple/Belle/Emma going to find Bae.
BOOM. Prediction.

KeymasterI really need Rumple to NOT be in cahoots with Cora. At least, not in that way, bfilipe. I think she’s the Millers daughter from the original Rumple fairy tale, but I think they are at odds with one another. I think he wanted to take Regina as a baby but Cora guessed his name and then struck a deal with him for power, though I don’t know in exchange for what…
Rumple obviously didn’t get whatever he was looking for (probably some sort of transporting device) from Wonderland (small, annoying world) and now with Cora out of the picture, controlling Regina, Rumple is free to train her to be the one who enacts the curse."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterExactly, Snow Falls. It’s like someone said on the previous page. Redemption isn’t having all your deed excused because of other people, it’s accepting what you did and trying to make amends. That’s why I do like what they’re doing with Rumple in FTL/EF. More of his more heinous deeds are being laid bare, but he’s trying to make up for them now in SB, with Belle, for instance. Much more realistic. And its also not as if he’s suddenly turned into a hero, he’s still Gold/Rumple. He still wields magic and needs to make deals, but he’s much more honest about it, recognizing and admitting out loud it’s because of his cowardice.

KeymasterI really like everyone’s comments about Jefferson being Alice’s White Rabbit. The more we talk about this, the more I like this theory.

KeymasterI completely agree. Regina’s character development is going way too fast. It took–what 19?–episodes for us to get to Stable Boy and see her as anything BUT the Evil Queen and now suddenly she’s all redemptive and we only had 2 episodes this season where she was the EQ we all love to hate? And I think it needs to be stressed by the writers that while she may have been manipulated, she still MADE those choices. She was never cursed or bewtiched, she CHOSE not to move on and become the Evil Queen. She could have turned Rumple down when it came to learning magic. But she loved the power, she said so. So, I’m not really happy with what the writers are doing to her in SB right now. It’s needs to be slower than this.

KeymasterIf Alice went through a rabbit hole in our world and came out into Wonderland….then the rabbit hole should still be in Wonderland. The way Alice gets back to our land is pretty unclear, especially in the movie where it’s almost like she was dreaming. Maybe in the end there is no way to back our land from Wonderland. One time only trip. So, Alice and Jefferson fall in love, but she can’t get back home and even as a portal jumper Jefferson can’t help her. They keep trying to get her home but at some point it has dire consequences and she dies because of their efforts and he swears to give up portal jumping and raise their daughter instead.
Random theory that I just spun out while typing this comment. 🙂

KeymasterFavorite moments: 1) Charming punching Whale cause…YES 2) Jefferson. Jefferson. Jefferson. Jefferson. Did I mention Jefferson! I love non-crazy Mad Hatter! He was wonderful. More Jefferson.
Least favorite moments 1) Daniel coming back, while poignant , had a bit too much cheese factor for me. Also…”it’s alive!” really? They HAD to go there??? 🙂
Also, did anyone else think the girl Regina killed toward the end of the episode looked a lot like Esmerleda?
