–The mythology is getting a bit more interesting. I like that they brought in the real spiritual movement that took place in the late 1800s-early 1900s around New York and the Great Lakes.
–But the characters are SO BORING. Like, I have no sympathy for any of them and they just drag everything around them down.
–Good lord, but this show does not need more romance. How many pairings does one show need??
–Amy screamed at a tetherball and then got struck by lightening later. I found that funny.

KeymasterI admit to still having a soft spot for Henry. He’s Neal’s kid, Rumple’s grandson after all, so how could I not? The problem is, again, the lack of good writing when it comes to making Henry a believable character. I don’t think it was a mistake to make him the Author—I think it was a mistake to “unmake” him in the next moment and then bestow that title back on him a season later ONLY so that he could royally mess things up for everyone around him. I think it was a mistake to make it seem like it’s the pen, not the man, who has the real power (honestly, the pen has a soul, guys.) I think it was a mistake to bypass all the internal development of a young boy who has had his life put in danger, lost a father, a father figure, had his mothers go against actual evil, ect and instead make his big story of the year be a romance. It shows where A and E’s priorities lie: with the external, fluff, romantic instead of the internal, deep, and communal.

KeymasterOR Rumple’s “seeing” her, almost like he did in NVL.
I doubt it. That was the shadow’s doing last time via Pan. So unless the shadow isn’t actually dead, or someone let him out of that candle thing, she may actually be out of the box.
….or other plot device thing-y. Sadly, they exist in droves on this show.

KeymasterI could get excited about this. If nothing else, it’s about time a peasant got a decent storyline

KeymasterBelle is on set? Interesting. So she’s out of the box?

KeymasterLet their mutual fatherly ties to Baelfire gradually create a mutual understanding between them. *head desk*
Another nice parallel to Emma. Just as she heals the wounds between Snow and Regina, Bae heals the breach between Rumple and Hook.
In my perfect world where I write the show, Hook died making sure Baelfire got home to his son to make up for his sin of selling Nealfire to the Lost Boys and robbing young Bae of having any sort of childhood/father-son relationship. It was all set up in S2 finale with his “the things we do for our children” line and an instant flashback to Hook and Bae on the JR. Full circle.

KeymasterA&E’s relationship to their audience is awfully similar to something like “Shut up and look pretty. And don’t you even think of disagreeing with me — I’m the one doing the thinking here.”
So….Captain Swan
