KeymasterEh gad! What a thing to say…
So what? Does the entire fandom STOP theorizing altogether, in order for them to not do this? It’s worth noting that they actually considered changing Baelfire’s identity, but ultimately chose not to because “this is the story we want to tell.” Would be nice to follow their own old advice.
It’s one of those sentiments that, when read, comes across really weird from two professional showrunners/writers who stress that they have a plan every year. Kitsiss has a tendency to say the wrong thing and then Adam has to backtrack it later, so maybe Eddy really meant something else but…my “eh gad” still stands.

KeymasterLove is strength and weakness, simple and complicated, easy and hard. Love can be the best and worst thing to happen to you. Love can trap and set you free. Love can not be summed up in one word. Love is a contradiction.
That.

Huh. That’s more like the Snow we used to know

KeymasterI’m not a parent and I’m sure everyone would have a different opinion on this, but I do believe this is something that can and should be left on the back burner until the actor and the character are both at an appropriate age to pursue that storyline again.
Agreed, especially since there are stories from a recent con that Jared didn’t want to do the kiss but had to.

Keymaster“As always with this show,” Kitsis adds, “once the audience gets onto what we’re doing, we have to change it.”

KeymasterThis Season will not be split-Season like Seasons 3-5, but seems to be going back to the way things were for Seasons 1-2.
Which makes guess dates harder. Do we have a set date for the big ABC stuff that we always get off?

KeymasterSo going by recent history, the chances of it actually being Morpheus are extremely slim. All we know is that the character is an old soul in a young body, adept at reading people and keeping his own business private.
Yes, in actuality this character might be a one off with as much importance as, say, Captain Silver on 515’s “The Brothers Jones”

KeymasterMmm….maybe for the Genie. But I’m not sure he fits “hiding his own agenda.” He was pretty open about wanting freedom. Also, I think A and E have to tread very carefully on Genie given Robin Williams’ still recent death.

Keymaster*steps on to Greek box*
Yes, Morpheus is the god of dreams more precisely. The Oneiroi are all manner of fascinating–and Greek epics/tales in general placed heavy emphasis on the power of dreams and their meaning. Above Rainbow quotes information about the two doors–ivory and buckhorn–and in the Odyssey, as an example, Penelope tells Odyessus (whom she does not recognize…) about a dream she had and whether or not it will to pass.
“Yet my strange dream did not- I think- come out of the gate of horn, for if it had, it would have made my son and me rejoice.”
All of this is awesome and great but means diddly squat on a show that can’t be bothered to get something like the birth order of Zeus and Hades right. I’m sure Morpheus will be the god of dreams and sleep on this show.

KeymasterGod of dreams?…..Nyx was the goddess of the night…. Just saying >> *adds into list of reasons Aladdin might appear* Its a possible connection here. But this Morpheus guy sounds shady!!!! I wonder if perhaps he’s the Black Fairy (could be a plot twist, eh)
Nyx is actually Morpheus’s grandmother in Greek mythology.
Family tree time!
Nyx and Erebus—Hypnos (and twin brother Thanatos) —-Morpheus (and, maybe 1000 other siblings including Phobetor–god of nightmares–and Phantasos–god of prophetic/fantasy like dreams. )
