KeymasterWhen the coins were raining down on Charming and co in Hyde’s world, all I could think was: Isn’t that potentially lethal to them? They tell you not to throw coins or anything else off the Eiffel tower/ Empire state building because as it falls, it picks up speed and can do some serious injury/damage to whatever it hits. Suddenly there are all these coins falling from the sky. Even if it’s not coming at them from a great height and speed, it would still hurt because they’re still having lots of pieces of metal thrown at them
HAHAHHAHAHAA

KeymasterHook is like a coackroach on this show. He could probably survive a nuclear explosion.
Basically that.

Keymaster1) I’ll move this to S6 once we get that up and running
2) I assume he means someone other than Wolkoff and Hales?

KeymasterEverybody Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde, and Poole have cursed identities
Poole? I thought he was called Paul?
Mmmm, I think it was Poole.

KeymasterS6 is going to be about the war between the character’s two selves.
Which actually could be a better story line, if they do it right. That story line seems to suggest they will be focusing on a ton of character development within the original cast, which would be promising. However, I’m still waiting for a rather large villain to show after Hyde. But maybe I’m wrong.
It would be interesting to see, but I’m hesitant about this idea that you can crush an aspect of yourself (which was the highlight of the conversation between Rumple and Regina). So, yeah they need to do it well.

KeymasterFinale promo. Yeah, the CoO will be the big bads for S3 (hopefully all of it….well, them and Talon)
Or I could see the show putting the CoO on ice for 3A while letting Baby!Batman and Jim figure out what exactly the CoO is; meanwhile the new host of Villains (Mr Freeze, Penguin, Nygma, Firefly should she survive, Fish, Jerome, Clayface, who knows…Scarecrow too!) plague the city on a week to week basis. Then s3B turns to the CoO more properly.
Any guesses on how they’ll title s3A? Gotham: Take Over of the Villains? lol

KeymasterAdjs ratings are in and we did even out to a 1.2 in the demo (with 4.07 million eyeballs) in both episodes.

KeymasterI think you are giving it to much importance to this
Sure that’s very possible but with this show you never know. For them to suddenly give more details about the death of character for whom we don’t even have a name and for it not to be an attempt to bond Violet and Henry (already bonded through death of a parent) just strikes me as odd. Like why that extra information? Violet is with Henry, she doesn’t need more reason to go with him to NYC.

KeymasterYou did get to use your knowledge of Greek myth, so there’s that. For me, however, I didn’t enjoy much about S5 — probably because S5 was mostly focused on Hook. The finale, by contrast, was not, so I enjoyed it a lot more. I liked all of the Emma-Regina scenes. I also liked the Rumple-Emma-Regina dynamic. I liked the Snow-Regina scenes. Even Henry and Violet were cute (when Henry wasn’t being an annoying teen). However, I could’ve done without all the new characters and the forced CS scene in front of the wedding dress. *twitch*
Yes, I did get to talk Greek-y-ness so there is that lol.
For me…s5A was a totally different show and is the arc that never happened. It was a bad dream and I refuse to acknowledge really any of it (Dreamcatcher is an exception, like I momentarily awoke from my nightmare before falling into terror once again).
I wonder if that’s what made me like S5B more…the fact that s5A was just so terrible. Plus Hades. I really did enjoy him.
And yes, subtle foreshadowing ain’t the strong suit of this show. Ugh that window set dressing; doesn’t help that they framed the show so that the wedding dress is in full view between Hook and Emma.

KeymasterThere seems like an awful lot left to do in the Season finale. Knowing Gotham, chances are they’re either going to rush things, or purposely leave a good chunk unresolved for Season 3.
There’s so much to wrap up! Is Strange going on to S3? Or is he gonna die? Where’s Penguin? How many more “creatures” will be brought back by Strange? Where’s Barbara? How big a role will the Court of Owls play in S3? Will we see Jerome? Will Selina get away from Firefly? Is Leigh really just gone?
Clayface!
Thanks for that!
Most likely, the latter. I’m guessing the CoO will be the S3 plot.
And hopefully (hopefully) they take their time with CoO and let them be arc villains and not just an episode or two
