Yeah that’s a wrench in the sacrifice for true love idea. I said it in the sneak peek thread when that scene was released, it’s a minor price but it’s still a price. I guess sacrifice doesn’t have to a sweeping, life or death type but that really (really) does a disservice to the idea of True Love and all the couples who have really sacrificed something for their TL partner.

That would be so annoying though, especially since by the end of this episode they made it very clear that Hades simply made it nearly impossible for people to leave. He liked the power he had on everyone. But it would seem that he has no power regarding people actually moving on. They either go down or up. He was simply a hindrance and now that he’s no longer in the UW, it will make things easier for everyone. But him dying, should not affect them based on what they have told us so far. It would really retcon what they established in this episode I think.
As it stands right now, the only other option I see is that Robin’s death allows Hook to come back for….reasons?

I do not think this is going to happen because EdR went on maternity leave at about this time …. I think her being waken will occur next season. .

So I’m guessing Hades or Zelena. But man would that be a step back for Zelena if it was her. It has to be Hades. Whether the death sticks is a whole other question. But this looks like quite the episode.
It’s gotta be either Hades or Zelena. There was a little spoiler last week that Regina and Robin would team up to take someone down–the most likely candidate is Hades given that Regina and Zelena are on good terms at present. If Robin and Regina take down Hades then Zelena would want revenge (though, this doesn’t make any sense given the finale photos we have of Zelena and Regina hugging in SB?)

Belle and Rumple are always like, “I love you BUT you have to be a better man” and “I love you BUT I’m never going to give up my power”. It’s been getting worse and worse to the point where I’d have been more surprised if the kiss did work.
I feel like the “unconditional” factor is a slippery slope. If Charming wakes up on Sunday and decides to go out and kill everyone he meets in the streets, do he and Snow still have TL because Snow loves him “unconditionally.” I know love gets heavily romanticized on OUAT but romantic love shouldn’t be unconditional. There ARE conditions–safety, the general welfare of yourself and everyone around you, loyalty, fidelity, no abuse of any sort.
