KeymasterSo, on the one hand, I’m excited Robbie Kay is back — Pan was a great villain. On the other hand, I am somewhat less excited about where I think this whole thing is going. I have a very strong suspicion that, as the show is seemingly working very hard to redeem Zelena, they are going to once again use Rumple as the foil — the entrenched villainous-villain — the same way they did when they were trying to make Hook look better. And while I understand why the show runners might outsource this role to Robert Carlyle: he’s an amazing actor, and can probably pull off being interesting to the audience despite his character’s utter lack of development. But only up to a point. Anyway, I hope they pull off something more original than what they’ve done with Rumple (and Rumbelle) for the last 2 seasons, but it looks like they’re already backtracking to the tried and true version of that same damn story.
I think you’re right. I can’t imagine Belle–as she is written right now on the show–waking up and upon hearing what Rumple did (strike a deal with Pan–who threatened to kill Belle and Bae in 3A–and captured Zelena–who only recently gave aid to Belle herself) be overjoyed. And if she is then it is going to strike me as pretty darn OOC given her recent demands she is making on Rumple with no gray area in between.

KeymasterIt’s just that the 30 years or so of personality development that they’d experienced since the memory wipe….well, those people deserved to grow and develop naturally, and not be instantly “patched” with a software upgrade. To me, it would have felt more like a foundation for real character development for Regina and Zelena if Cora had said something like “What I took from you….I can’t give it back, but I can show you…” and then used a magic mirror to replay her own memories.
I agree and it goes back to what Regina had said earlier in the episode–Zelena has lost her right to trust and privacy and she has to earn it back. Having your memories of one brief instance of kindness between the girls doesn’t change *everything* Zelena has done to Regina and Regina’s friends and family and love interest (lest we forget the wonky consent of Robin!) It’s a stepping stone for a better relationship but I don’t buy that now they can be BFFs.

KeymasterAre we mot getting an explanation on how Snow White could leave the UW when she only has half of a heart? If David’s name on a grave, hers should automatically be on one as well? Or have they just forgotten about the whole half heart thing?
Seriously has no one GIF’d Rumple’s “Your questions are pointless” yet?

KeymasterEMMA AND HOOK’S LOVE FACES THE ULTIMATE TEST
Geez, PR writers. Stop with the superlatives. When is it not the ultimate test or challenge or hurdle or any other word you throw at it?
However, when Hook is still unable to leave
So…the split heart still doesn’t work or did they completely bypass that plot?
Geoff Gustafson as Stealthy
‘kay.
Stealthy is back? Why?
Set photos showed that he was in the Underworld, for whatever reason.
Without any other dwarves around, though, it does feel strange. Is Charming going to help him move on?

KeymasterYou know…how is Belle going to feel about all this? When she wakes up and learns that Rumple wheele’d and deal’d his way to making the contract null and void?

KeymasterI wonder if Rumple is going to barter Zelena’s safe return for the contract Hades has for the baby.
That’s a pretty good thought. And in return, Hades lets Pan go back to the real world and Zelena stays? Cause I can’t see Pan just agreeing to this plan without getting something out of it.
