Speaking of family, is PapaNolan down there? You would think an alcoholic farmer who died in a drunk cart accident would have unfinished business. Also, is King George dead yet? He was more or less left to starve in the mines under SB…

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Am I the only one excited that they are actually going to address the fact that they just gave up on Camelot and thought we wouldn’t notice?</p>

LOL yes. Though addressed seems to mostly be “Merida captures Arthur and goes through inexplicable door!” But yeah, sure. It’s being addressed, props for that.

In the half hours, episode 5×19 got a 1.2 for 8p-8:30p and a 1.1 from 8:30p-9p. We will, most likely, not adjust down and stay at a 1.2 when final ratings come out tomorrow.

Ratings are in for episode 5×19 “Sisters”

    Eyeballs: 3.84mil

    Demo: 1.2

This means that we held steady in spite of what turned out to be a controversial episode last week. With only a few episodes left this season, it is very unlikely we will go fractional (below a .9) and if I had to guess, I’d say we’re going to end the season on a 1.1 or 1.2. Given how positively this arc has been received by most, it will be interesting to see the ratings for the first episode of S6.

This is also the first time in awhile that OUAT won or tied its hour, demo wise. Little Big Shots was a repeat this week, which certainly helped.

    we meet Hades’ brother Zeus

Well, that confirms that the ‘Prince Marcus’ casting call is really Zeus as we all suspected. It’ll be interesting to see who they cast.

I’m rather surprised they haven’t announced it yet.

and a current coupling “maybe” won’t last the season.

    Bye bye Robin

The way I took it is that Cora WAS willing to take responsibility for her actions, and was ready to go to the Worse Place, if that was her fate. That might have been enough to warrant the Powers that Be to allow her to move on to the Better Place, and could be a similar reason as to why Liam was spared that fate. Plus, I guess it would have been quite a damper to see Cora get sent to the Worse Place after having those beautiful scenes with her daughters, despite Cora’s long list of sins.

    Quote

I get what you’re saying but that continues to eschew any sort of punishment at all. I’m glad those two characters are willing to accept their fate and their punishment but the show got queasy at the idea and handwaved it away. Meanwhile, other souls–some villainous, some repentant and some nowhere near villain status  (Auntie Em)–do get eternal punishment for no rhyme or reason except for PLOT. It’s what @sciencevsmagic was saying about it being blase.

However, I will say this: it works much better in this case–Cora–because we’ve been through so much with her, because of her goodbye with her daughters, and because of all reconciliation that came back in Zelena’s house. Liam didn’t really do any of that until after he was saved and sitting in his merry boat with his victims…

I hear Felix is down there and runs a store called ‘Baby and Camping Supplies for Deceased Nature Loving Parents’. Robin popped in there and paid for it all with money he stole from the living to give to the dead.

Well, so long as you have a logical explanation…LOL

    – The way the reappearance of Robin was handled. It seems ludicrous that he’s been running around the woods of the underworld with a baby. Then he tried to shoot a dead man. It’s beyond belief that the writers can’t make this legendary character more interesting.

And where did they get the baby carrier…?

He shouldn’t be able to take her anywhere, unless Zelena is conveniently unable to use her magic again to get out of her situation

She also could have screamed given that Hades is right inside Granny’s, a few feet away lol.

“I thought love, any kind of love, was a weakness. I was a fool.”

Sometimes, OUAT actually remembers how to do character development. Barbara will be missed; she did such a stand out job over the years playing such a tricky and nuanced character.
