Ok so this is a whole new thing now.
We are going to treat this as a rumor and that’s is all, just like MRj trashing his trailer as @Slurpeez rightly recalls. This stuff happens in fandom especially when there are death rumors.
We are not going to use this as fuel for our speculation. Let’s just stick to what we *know* about filming, ect.

That’s potentially a very interesting idea while giving the side-eye to the show. Sadly, it also means that the writers can write in as many loopholes, unforseen consequences, or random rules that they want.

In mythology he’s not even supposed to kill Cerberus. Just capture him. And he did it by making a deal with Hades and then rendered Cerberus unconscious with his hands. When Herc returned to the land of the living to give the king (who had put the labor to him) the dog, the King begged Herc to return Cerberus home because big bad scary puppy dog.

Actors cost money. Emma and Little John have maybe spoken 2 words to each other. He’s not worth the money it would cost to bring him in for a fourth-tier character to comfort a character that he’s almost never interacted with.
At the end of the day, we don’t know yet and debating this is nonsense at this point. You think it’s Hook. Fine. I think it’s Robin. Fine. We’ll just have to wait and see if it’s either of those.

Do you know how much stuff happens off screen in this show? Or because of magic handwaves Tons.Actual character development happens off screen! It’s about as plausible as saying Hook’s dead and has a tombstone in SB now because “he just died in the Underworld” (in spite of his very real appearance in that scene along with Little John who wouldn’t be there for Hook’s funeral)

You’ll find that between Matt and I, we forget nothing.
And he has a headstone in SB because he was DEAD. They buried him really quickly and magicked a headstone.
