Keymaster@Phee I love that idea!!! (doubtful that the writers will go there but I love it anyway. Headcanon: accepted)

KeymasterArthur was there? Well that’s a good sign. Glad they are actually wrapping that story up. Wanna bet they are refilming the scene from 5×11 of Merida taking Arthur back to Camelot/Dun Broch? They just need to refilm so that it now takes places in 522/23

KeymasterI’m especially excited to learn about Ilvermorny, the North American wizarding school.
I’m hoping it will finally help me understand why I never got my owl!
(but yes, very excited to read all this and learn more about the HP world. I’m so glad JKR never really left that world.)

KeymasterDoes anyone think that Hades’ goal might include fusing the UW and the real SB together? Peter Pan wanted to create “the new Neverland” in SB and I could see Hades doing something similar in SB.
And Arthur wanted to make a new Camelot in SB. It would be keeping in line with villain motivations.
What I’m curious about is what Hades meant when he said that each time the clock ticks the UW loses a soul. Why would that be, I wonder?
Also, when was the last time that clock ticked? It was obviously frozen for quite a long time so who affected it last time?

Keymasterbut can Gods be affected by the Rivers of the Underworld? If so, making Hades forget specific parts of his end game could help the heroes actually win. Instead of the villains making our heroes forget, what if the heroes made the villains forget?
I think that largely depends on how OUAT views Hades. He’s a god in our mythologies but OUAT hasn’t decided–at least explicitly–if Hades is a god or not.

KeymasterIn Dante’s version of Purgatory, sinners who have “done their time” are washed in the River Lethe by someone named Matlida in order to wash away the memories of their sins. They then can enter paradise without the burden’s of their past.

KeymasterCorbin makes a good point, though. At some point this is torturing a character. They’ve done it to Rumple too.

KeymasterAlso, what are people making of the five weird colored “streams” in Hades’s throne room?
I explained this in another thread on the Underworld and Hades. The colors even seem to line up with what the five rivers of Hades represent (Lethe being white for oblivion, for example)

KeymasterAnd, along with what I wrote above, if Zelena will be killed in S6 because she’s the equivalent of a loaded gun, then Hook, Rumple, and Regina all need to be killed as well. They are all loaded guns, who have shown themselves capable and willing to kill, maim, torture, corrupt, ect. If it’s justifiable to kill Zelena because she poses a danger to everyone, then it’s a double standard to not give the other villains (several of which have tried attempted murder very recently) the same treatment.
That’s what I mean by a conversation. If OUAT is going to make Regina kill Zelena for what she does (perhaps) to Robin and call it being the hero then they’re gonna need to extrapolate on why other villains aren’t being given the same treatment and how they, as writers and human beings, understand insanely complicated issues like murder and heroism.

KeymasterI actually prefer this take on the Underworld as opposed to a mostly CGI environment like Wonderland or just one bland studio soundstage like we got in Neverland. Especially if it was all dark underground caverns.
Largely because the CGI realms on this show are baaaaaaad. Green screen of doom in WL, remember? The yellow brick road. Oof.
