Absolutely Zeus. We will see Mount Olympus. I just wonder where this takes us for next year?
I kinda think that the end of 5B won’t set up S6 so much as just end the Darkness storyline. Sorta like in in S1, it ended with the Curse breaking but with no real indication of who was the next big bad–we didn’t know Cora was coming back, in other words. So I don’t think we’re gonna know who or what is coming next until S6 starts filming.

Following the usual OUAT pattern, then, it means that Hades is defeated in this episode but that his defeat has some sort of consequence which leads us to the two part finale–probably something about having to save all the souls in the Underworld because without Hades there, they will all be lost or something.

It doesn’t fit into their “happy endings” thurst, which–let’s face it–whether you ship the ships or not, is where every character is going to end up. They’d never live it down from the fans if Rumple, and really Rumbelle, don’t get their happy ending. And they cater too much to the fans as is to not give them the Beauty and the Beast ending.
But then I’m still confused on how that’s something new since OQ (villan, good guy) and CS (good girl, villain) are going to get the same shiny ending.

The “new” thing might actually be having him go all black hat for absolute, no taksies-backsies and be the ultimate villain. I wouldn’t be surprised to be honest. Or it could be that he redeems himself but it’s too late for a life with Belle, and he’s forced to live his life alone in penacne. The problem is that the thing most people want–happily ever after–isn’t something new, we’ve seen it plenty with other former villains.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"When Merlin said one day, someone will be able to harness the darkness and be able to wield it’s power for good (or something along those lines), I think everyone thought that could be Emma. But maybe that person is Rumple?
Quite possibly, but I just don’t know how the writers can get to that sort of space emotionally and narrative wise over the course of 12 episodes.

Favorite Episode: Sympathy for the De’vil. By a long shot.
Favorite New Character: Cruella by a long shot. Which is odd cause so many of us were against her being on the show at all.
Favorite Moment: Is it telling that I can’t think of a single moment from the entire season that stands out? And that’s odd cause I liked 4B more than 4A. I guess finally meeting the Author. It’s a huge question finally answered.
Changed Thoughts: Not really? I would still prefer 4B over 4A because it felt more organic to the show and not a giant ratings grab. But the entire season is based on a false premise: that the Queens of Darkness would be terrorizing SB. They did no such thing. They simply stayed in a cabin, not really bothering anyone and waiting for their centrics. They were the time killers before we got to the Author.

Favorite Episode: Shattered Sight. It was a fun campy episode. Often times OUAT takes itself too seriously and forgets to have fun. Shattered Sight embraced the camp.
Favorite new character: Sven
Favorite Moment: Eh. I don’t really have any, to be honest. Maybe Regina and Snow laughing hysterically after the Curse of Shattered Sight is broken. It was a nice moment to show how far those two have come.
Thought Changed: Only in that 5A is worse. I see 4A has a big money grab but at least the themes of Frozen fit within the themes of the show. But too much time was spent on characters that audience just met and aren’t at the center of the story.
