KeymasterGotta wonder what story they have for Cruella. Does she take over as tour guide?

KeymasterJane: *takes a swig of Tequila* I will destroy you all yet… *nuykh nuykh nuykh*
This is pretty much the only way I’m going to accept that the same woman who wrote “Skin Deep” also wrote some of the latest episodes and CS drivel

KeymasterS5: Rumple is set up as a hero who pulled Excalibur only to take back on the Dark One’s powers for his own agenda. We are also told that Rumple’s real motivation for leaving the war out of fear and never anything to do with Bae.
I don’t believe he specifically said it had nothing to do with Bae. He didn’t mention Bae, and only mentioned his fear, but I took that as more of emphasizing one of the many reasons he left the war, and the fear reason happened to fit nicely with the plot for the episode of trying to make Rumple brave.
From the episode (bold my emphasis)
Belle: You’ve been brave before
Rumple: When? During the First Ogres War? Let me tell you the truth about that day…I didn’t cripple myself to get back to my son…I did it because I was afraid.

KeymasterI would be more than content if the show ended with Henry being Emma’s only True Love (other than Neal)
I would be 100% okay with that.
But hey, at least she gets to wear a momento from a serial killer. Isn’t that romantic?
My god. THIS
I hate that stupid bauble. And all the stupid I-Killed-Someone-For-This-Baubles
*twitch*
The anger pre-coffee is strong.
I think it’s also possible that different writers feel differently about CS, and there’s occasional dissent in the ranks, where those not so fully sold on CS actually sneak in some kind of double-speak.
So do I. But I’ve been of the opinion that the writers don’t read/watch other writers work for awhile now. Hence why the show feels so bipolar on every character.
At this stage, I’m still very much willing to accept an “It was all a dream/delusion/fantasy” of someone. Possibily between these two: – Emma dreaming up some story as she gives up her child and goes back to jail. – Henry fantasizing about who his biological mother is, and so he dreams up this story about her being a fairytale princess.
I want the show to end with Emma waking up in NYC with Henry and Neal, S3B-present being a bad dream.

KeymasterA&E did say the hat once belonged to yensid but was passed down or something.
I don’t remember them saying that. But the hat was found in the Sorcerer’s Mansion which was rented (?) to Yensid. I think it just goes to show that the writers really didn’t know what they were doing with that whole plot line. Because Merlin would have still been stuck in his tree so…like how does he have a giant house that appeared in the second curse with the hat…? I don’t know.
If anyone knows on what page the picture of Merlin wearing that hat can be found in the filming thread (I think) please let me know.
Can’t remember that photo existing

KeymasterFor one horrifying moment, I forgot that Hades is “Greg” and all I could think of was Greg from S2.

KeymasterAaaaand that’s confirmation that Barbara is gonna be back. I am excited to see Zelena and Cora. That’s a great and meaty opportunity.

KeymasterI disagree that Rumple is speaking in code. He truly believes these things about himself. We see his various acts as heroic (depending on our own POV) but Rumple does believe that he’s unworthy of love, that he’s a villain, and that everyone will always leave him because he’s not good enough. His deep deep abandonment issues (which I discussed two pages back) are extensive and inform much of his psychology. He doesn’t see himself as a hero and belies the issue for whatever reason.

KeymasterDid I miss some?
I’d add the LGBT issues. As in:
–don’t assume heterosexuality in all cases and don’t make being gay a “joke” with a person’s sexuality a punchline.
In fact, keeping him at Chaotic Neutral would have worked just fine.
Yes I agree. Rumple is at his most interesting–and by extension, Bobby does his best work–when you’re not sure which side he’s on, and manages to move between both as effortlessly as possible. Have him be sympathetic (Belle, Bae, Henry) but also be the Trickster who makes sly deals and dispenses snark and bullseye commentary to every passerby.

KeymasterThat’s…interesting. I know there are Canadian fans and everything but that reduces the amount of fans who will/can go.
