Glad to see that Emilie WILL still be on the show
I don’t know why anyone ever believed otherwise, tbh. Her screen time will be just as limited as it always has been.
I think Rumple’s motivation will be Baelfire.
Doubtful. Rumple didn’t want to go to the Underworld at all. He just wanted his power back. Had Emma not threatened to expose his secret, he never would have ventured off to the Underworld at all, even though he’s apparently had the ability to go there since “coming back” in S3B. His motivation is probably something about being power hungry and greedy because that’s how the writers conceptualize him.

HOROWITZ: We’re going to attempt to delve deeper into his psyche.Let me guess. His motivation is that he’s TOTES EVIL GUYZ with absolutely no nuance or complexity outside of Black Hat

HOROWITZ: Yeah, Rumple is an evolving character, so yes, he’s going to be continuing to grow and change based on all the experiences we’ve seen him go through over the course of the show.LOL they think Rumple is an evolving character. How cute.
Will we find out the significance of Rumple’s dagger looking different now?
KITSIS: I believe that is because when he stole the Dark power from everybody and put it into a new dagger, we’re seeing the effects of the merged, re-formed Excalibur reverting back into a dagger.50 bucks says Eddy just made that up on the spot.
Will Lily’s (Agnes Bruckner) quest to find her father ever be addressed?

Remember we speculated they were two of the three fates from Hercules? Well… there you go. theres the connection, if they are. Hades was tight with the fates. Rumpel was raised by the fates. And also there is a story called the three spinsters (I think) and it appears in the collection of Grimm fairytale book that I have and its basically the story of rumpelstiltskin but with three spinners. And it appears like right before the story of Rumpelstiltskin so…. yeah….
It would be nice if the writers would tie Hades back into the story we’ve seen thus far, but it’s not really how they roll. They’ll connect Hades to one of our characters but via some new adventure/plot we haven’t seen before, not by going back to a previous flashback and fleshing it out.
’m probably wildly off base, but in my wildest dreams the flashbacks for 5×14 will be Rumple abducting baby/toddler Regina and Cora making a deal with Hades (another one of the “deals she had to make,” plural, to get to where she was in 1×18) to get her back – though, of course, a wrench gets jammed in that when you’re forced to ask when in Regina’s life Rose McGowan evolved into Barbara Hershey, but…
I like it. I think the connection is mainly with Cora as well because A and E wouldn’t pass by the Kore name for Persephone without doing something with it.
If Hades is set to make his appearance right away in the season 5b mid season premiere, why have no photos surfaced of him on set in costume? Or did I miss something?
They film a lot indoors.
I think we come up with better theories and answers here than the writers do on the show.
Which is really the final point here. Like I said to Watcher, if the connection is with anyone it most likely will be some new story we haven’t seen yet instead of fleshing out an old flashback because that’s how A and E tell stories.

Nah, 516 is clearly Zelena/Dorothy centric, according to that recent casting announcement. I think Natalie was getting basic scoop about 5B, likely during the same time she did the Hot Seat that has yet to be posted, and Hades came up.
No you’re right. I totally forgot about the Dorothy stuff (maybe wishful thinking). Still, we should be getting a Hades centric soonish
