KeymasterNot to mention the fact, they are playing with fire as you just can’t go to the Underworld and expect to waltz out without dragging something back with you?
There’s something slightly immoral about the Savior waltzing into the Underworld and only saving one person. If Emma’s goal was to put a stopper in death and save *everyone* who had repented and asked for forgiveness, that’s one thing; that keeps nicely to her Savior trope, especially on a show where the leading cosmology of the writers is a Judaeo-Christian one. But seriously, how can the writers justify Emma going down to the Underworld and not save other innocent and lost souls (souls that are more innocent than Hook)?
The way Rumple talked about the Underworld, you went there no matter what (which does keep with some Greek myth) but that the Underworld as a whole was terrible (which does not keep with Greek myth). This doesn’t even have to go back to Neal and him as the elephant in the room, but what about the poor souls in the village Regina had destroyed? What about the Ava’s of the world (mostly innocent mother who was murdered?) The Leo’s? The victims of Rumple, Cora, Pan, Regina, Hook, and the other villains who were bent on their endgame and didn’t care who got in the way? How does Emma, as the Savior–and moreover, the SHOW–justify that they have to remain in “hell?”

KeymasterScrewball did a really interesting essay on Emma’s plan to go to the underworld to get Hook. http://screwballninja.tumblr.com/post/135321215006/my-problem-with-emmas-underworld-vacation-the
Emma’s a selfish 5 year old who gets emotionally reset every season/arc. So yeah. It won’t surprise me at all that come S6, Emma will once again be talking about her walls/being abandoned/losing everyone she loves. It’s what the writers do. They don’t actually let her progress so she stays a petulant 5 yr old who has to get whatever she wants.
But even that’s not my biggest beef with this trip to the Underworld. Plot logistics aside (how do you plan on putting a heart inside a spirit, Miss Swan?!) Hook just, flat out, doesn’t deserve to be brought back from actual, buried in the ground, death.

KeymasterThe heroes spoke to Cora’s ghost in 3B. Is that going to come up? Are they going to explain why Cora’s ghost was Rose McGowan yet Underworld Cora is Barbara Hearshey?
Of course not.

KeymasterHonestly, based on one of the recent interviews, Adam and Eddy gave off the impression that they have no interest in actually showing us more of Liam 2.0, and used that opportunity to instead tease that we would see more of Liam 1.0.
Agreed. I suspect that Captain Silver will play into the emotional (and not familial) side of the story; given that he is described as a sometimes-bully, he’ll probably be set up as the example of how to NOT captain a crew in the Navy that both Naval!Liam and Naval!Killian take to heart. We’ll probably even get a line from Liam about “when we captain our own crew, we won’t be like him.”

KeymasterAlso, why are Milah and Liam in a place that looks like SB, if Sb didnt existed when they died, was only until centuries after their death? So they were is some other place and just puff there in this SB UW version whne the town was made?
Don’t know what their explanation will be, but they could do something like “Hades (the underworld) looks differently to everyone who enters it; so for our SB gang, it looks like a destroyed SB’

KeymasterPlot Twist: Long John Silver is actually Hook’s little half brother all grown up.
If the boy was cursed, he’d only be like…8 now. If he did escape the curse (but how?) then he’d be old enough, I guess.

KeymasterUnsurprisingly, it looks like Hook and Emma run into Liam in the Underworld, too: https://www.instagram.com/p/_VXjkNoFQc/
I, for one, am stunned.

KeymasterBased on set reports, it looks like Captain Silver is in a flashback of back when Killian and Liam were naval officers. I do have to wonder if Captain Silver will be based on Long John Silver from “Treasure Island.”
That’s what I thought when I read the spoiler.
