KeymasterWe saw it with the Well of Wonders on Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and we saw it with Ariel using water to travel between realms
One wonders how Nyx fits into the Underworld and that mythology. In classic Greek mythology, Nyx is the mother of Thanatos (the personification of Death). It is said that her house is in Tartarus.

KeymasterThere’s another issue as well; Philip’s soul went some place when the Wraith took it. It wasn’t the Red Room. It might be the Underworld but it might not. So we’ve got (potentially) three places: Lost Soul-ville, Red Room of Fire (located somewhere near Twin Peaks, probably), and the Underworld/Hell/Purgatory/MishMash of various mythologies.
We don’t know if Mulan and Aurora realm traveled but in theory, they had no means to do so. Yet Philip was returned to his soul, so the Lost Soul-ville must be in the EF (unless SleepingWarrior realm traveled)
I think the Underworld is its own realm. (PS: how would one get to the Underworld if not via Duck Pond of Doom) (is it any body of water that bring Charon and the SS Purgatory?)
The Red Room of Fire can only be gotten to with a cup of coffee and some chewing gum. (plz let someone get this reference). But I don’t think it’s its own realm. I think it’s more…”in your mind” than that. I have no idea why.

KeymasterAbsolutely. THE worse possible scenario. But, sadly, not unlikely. I think the writers have been flailing about with writing Rumple’s since 3B, for obvious reasons. Along with Regina and Emma, he’s been one of their most complicated characters, and I think with this latest “re-evilification” they’re essentially trying to wrap up Rumple’s storyline without wrapping up the show. Making him unlikeable by, once again, making him gratuitously evil, and resetting him to be once more the main antagonist to Hook, (whom much of the fandom adores), is one way to kill two birds with one stone: 1) lead up to a situation where they can get rid of a character that’s become too complex and unwieldy, and 2) do it in a way that scores some points with one part of the audience while potentially minimizing the damage elsewhere (hence Rumple = inherently evil, since this means that some of the fans will de-invest).
I had predicted that Rumple would die at the end of S4. I was proven wrong and thought they might go a decidedly different route for the rest of S5 since he was Hat-Sucked and Heroized. Turns out not so much. So your scenario sounds like pretty much spot on.

KeymasterRumple right now is in villain mode to rescue his son– just like he was in S1 and 2. That’s not character assassination, that’s continuity. At least, that’s my guess!
Except Neal’s the Very Dead! Elephant! in the room. So…I place no bets on this. All the post 511 interviews about this have stressed that Rumple didn’t want to die and saw being the DO again as a means of escape because apparently he’s only ever been a coward.

KeymasterBelle is the exposition character. Every character has a job in the scene that usually goes like this: Charming/Robin: Stupid Question. Belle/character of the arc: exposition. Rumple: Loophole. Emma/Snow: optimism/pessimism. Regina/Hook: Sass.
that is the most accurate description of a scene in OUAT I’ve ever seen.

KeymasterOk, I am excited for Cruella. She was so great. But I kinda hope they don’t go the “regret” route with her. Part of what makes her fun is that she was just straight up evil.
*suddenly finds herself wishing for Pan and Cruella scene*

KeymasterThe absolute worst way they could do this is by Rumple and Milah realizing they’re mistakes and falling back in love, and having his son Baelfire back….it’d be like a twisted happily ever after for them, only they’re happy ending is being together and happy in the Underworld
Please don’t give the writers ideas.

KeymasterI actually forgot all about Frankenstein brother resurrection…. Hmmmm…. Isn’t he still alive? Why didn’t a fury come after him? Or Regina since she did bring back Daniel for like a day… Well actually that was Whale, I think but still. The writers really don’t plan ahead. Hmmmm *shrug*
Yeah he’s apparently alive back in the B &W world.

KeymasterPerhaps they need his soul because he’s been dead too long. They tried reviving a certain dead someone with an enchanted heart before and he came back wrong all and had to be destoyed. Maybe they’ve worked out how to do it now without the deadee going all Frankenstein’s monster.
Good point. Maybe the plan is two fold: get Hook’s soul and bring that back to SB, then put the heart inside Hook’s body and *magic* happens in which by inserting his heart into his body, his soul is tethered back to his body.

KeymasterHook needs a new body anyway; his original body has that severed vein that can’t be healed.
Actually, though, how is that going to work? Is the wound magically healed because “death”
