I agree that the “soiled” line was one of the most offensive things I’ve heard on this show in 4.5 years. But I don’t think the writers have a really sick mind, in that they find delight in rape, wonky consent, and misogyny and write such things because it gives them pleasure. It’s that they don’t recognize that their lines and various plot points are full of rape, wonky consent, and misogyny. They are completely disconnected from the broader implications of the things they are writing and showing.

OUAT’s demo stayed the same, and Madam Secretary’s demo went up, so both OUAT and MS have a demo of 1.3, but MS has 9.96 million viewers, meaning MS has 5.58 million more viewers than OUAT with the exact same demo.

And it’s not new to Emilie either. She did take an entire season off from LOST. Name was removed from the credits and everything.

I know that we saw a little bit with Liam, but it was nice because we’re going to meet Hook’s father. That was a very important thing for me to get to explore because he, obviously, was such an important part of forming who Killian Jones came to be as a person. It’s interesting, but I can’t really tease too much about it because it’s quite spoilery, but the fans should expect to see some very interesting stuff between Hook and his father.
Is Hook’s father Hades? I mean Rumplestiltskin’s father was Peter Pan, so stranger things have happened.

I think it’s the promise Emma got from Regina back in episode 501–to destroy Emma if she needed to (still problematic because making the Evil Queen the Dark One would be..um…problematic)
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"f the writers want me to believe that she is BPD rather than a psychopath and therefore is redeemable, then they will need to show me more of her past growing up….they would need to show the systematic abuse of a lovely child who resisted the dark side up until seeing Regina get everything broke the donkey’s back.
I wonder if the writers actually diagnose their characters. I’m not sure they’ve given any thought to any sort of medical psychopathy for anyone–Hook, Rumple, Regina, Zelena. But I agree with you; Zelena, IMO, isn’t really redeemable about this point, but will be.

Similar to Voldemort and the horcruxes, as long as there is a piece of him somewhere, he can’t die.
