Keymasteractually had to sit here and think through all possibly B-words… is it belief? LOL
“Louisiana doughnuts”
OH! LOL!! Well, hopefully no B-words in the finale.

KeymasterAbsolutely nobody ages properly on this show. I didn’t blink at Ariel/wish Ariel’s age because I’ve given up on the timeline completely now.
I’m going to assume that merfolk age differently because of Posideon’s semi-demi-some percentage-divinity (something never said explicitly in the show but…)

KeymasterRatings are in for episode 7×21 “Homecoming,” the penultimate episode of OUAT
Demo: .5
Eyeballs: 2.31 million
Will be interesting to see if we keep that when the finals come in

KeymasterWhere is Gideon anyway? I didn’t like his storyline at all, but you’d think he deserves at the very least a mention. Maybe he’s died offscreen and will show up in the big Stiltskin afterlife reunion scene?
Who knows?? Much like his older brother, Gideon is an elephant sized hole in the narrative that I hard side-eye every single time I’m reminded that he should be here doing something

KeymasterThe writers have always had a problem with Henry being Rumple’s grandson and having two sets of them just ups the awkwardness
Yeah this is supremely complicated and weird. The writers are writing Wish Rumple as though he is full on crazy because he never got Belle back and never got Nealfire back which sure, that would make Rumple lose his mind and give into the darkness fully. The issue is that Nealfire somehow existed in the Wish Realm 18 years ago (somehow!) and lived long enough to meet Emma and create Wish Henry (and we have to assume it wasn’t just a wam-bam-thank you ma’am because when we were first introduced to the Wish Realm, they spoke of Neal in loving terms).
My limited understanding of the Wish Realm timeline is something like this
1) Rumple takes the dagger for a variety of reasons and Bae is a little boy.
2) Bae vanishes down a portal because of Rumple’s refusal to give up the Dagger; Wish Rumple swears he’ll find a way to get back to Bae and begins to come up with his Curse plan.
3) Lots of time passes and somehow the family defeats the Wish Evil Queen and Emma is never sent through the Wardrobe. Rumple is also captured and locked up in the castle jail.
4) Insert massive confusion here because somehow Nealfire stayed young enough to eventually come back to the Wish Realm, grow up a bit, meet Emma, presumably fall in love and conceive Henry. But…Wish Rumple and Neal never interacted?
5) Neal dies somehow
(side note: all of this is still more complicated because of what I wrote a response above…none of it actually happened until the Wish Realm was poofed into existence and even then the characters only have memories of these events. They could not actually have transpired)
I know it will come to no surprise to anyone but when all is said and done in a week, I’ll go down swearing that the single biggest mistake on this show was killing Neal. I don’t even care about the ‘ship aspect of it all (well, okay, maybe a little) but at every turn his lack of presence complicated the show beyond what was necessary because the writers keep having to deal with him and his existence in their universe as Henry’s father and Rumple’s son somehow. Their go-to solution is to straight up ignore Neal except when they realize they can’t do that (ie: Wish Henry needs a father) so they casually drop his name into the narrative and hope that’s enough except it never it because it never makes sense and leads to a ton more questions.

KeymasterAnother week of Sweeps! Here’s where the list stands after the airing of “Homecoming”
Number of resurrections and/or big returns: 26
14. AIRED May 11: Cruela De Vil/Once Upon a Time
15. AIRED May 11: Peter Pan/Once Upon a Time
16. AIRED May 11: The Apprentice/Once Upon a Time
Not sure why they didn’t include Ariel

KeymasterStill not clear on how if Gold loses his darkness that Wish Realm Rumple will too. Did he lose it when Emma became the Dark One?
Probably not for one reason: the Wish Realm didn’t exist then. The WR might have history and backstory now but it did not pop into existence until Emma made her wish after her Dark Swan arc. So while the Wish characters have memories of experiences that make them real, any sort of event outside the WR that would have repercussions in the Wish Realm did not actually happen.
(and least this is what I’m telling myself)

KeymasterThere were a few more photos released for this episode after it aired. I really wish I knew why they had cut the Blue/Grumpy/Granny/Regina scene

KeymasterAnd how did Cruella get back to Wish Realm Enchanted Forest? Didn’t she and Ursula get pulled through the portal with Lily when Snow and Charming tried to rid baby in the womb Emma of the potential for darkness?
Well, since it’s Wish Realm Cruella, I’m guessing that this version of Cruella never went to our world. I guess this Wish Universe has its own Wish Neverland and Wish 20th Century London.
I would’ve been all about an Ariel/Nook ship. They were cute together. Do mermaids not age? Because she shouldn’t have been so young otherwise.
Ah, Hookriel. The crack ship @Phee and I never let die.

KeymasterOr is this something we aren’t supposed to question
Yes I think this is the point where Rumple wold tell us our questions are pointless.
