KeymasterBut in “Skin Deep,” it looks like Regina enters 4937 Enter when she checks on Belle. We don’t see what Jefferson entered in “The Land Without Magic,” but it was more than 5 beeps (maybe 7 badly timed beeps).
Continuity. ‘Tis not a thing on this show, sir.

KeymasterIs Adam directing another episode? Or is he just visiting?
I suspect he’s directing

Keymaster1) For whatever reason, Arthur trapped him there himself. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I don’t quite trust Arthur.
I don’t either. There’s something….off about him.
2) Merlin put himself in the tree as some sort of ruse. Maybe to test Emma and the gang in some shape or form.
That would fit with the Merlin in The Once and Future King and Disney’s Sword and the Stone; constantly testing Arthur (Emma in this case who’s a clear gender swapped Arthur) by all manner of weird situations.
One word: squirrels

KeymasterWell, Regina adopted him at 3 weeks old. So he’d have to be born 3 weeks BEFORE that. Doesn’t fix the timeline

The only thing that’s going to fix the timeline is to set afire and start anew.

KeymasterI demand to see proof! Release the certificate
#WeGetEachOther
Personally, I say make his birthday 8/15/02. Considering Ashley is drinking in “Skin Deep,” even though she’s supposed to be 19 in “The Price of Gold,” obviously there was an unspoken two-year time skip during Season 1. Yeah. That’s it. Let’s go with that.

KeymasterOkay , googling produces that in the U.S. the time of birth is sometimes listed only on the “long form” version of certificates at birth and sometimes not even on those if the population is under 100,000 people
Henry was actually born in Kenya.
(this is only funny if you follow American politics)

KeymasterThe chance that Henry’s birth hour would be in his adoption records are slim.
Especially since he was born in prison where papers are often shuffled, lost and keeping records is not the first order of business.
ETA: I have no doubt that in the minds of A and E Henry was born at 8:15 on the 15t of August because in their minds, that’s how storytelling goes.

KeymasterI think we’re mostly in agreement.
We are. I was agreeing with your “it’s going to backfire” line.
Merlin gets out of that tree sometime while the SB gang is in Cemelot (we saw BTS photos of Emma and Merlin)
Yeah but there’s something shady about the whole thing. Like…how long has Merlin been in that tree? Cause he was up walking around and telling Young! Emma not to do a thing back in ’89 but if we’re right that Nimue trapped him (per legend) then that’s…long ago. *rubs head* T-word nonsense. My point, I think, is that I think there’s more to this whole tree-wizard story.
