    So Camelot is coming to SB instead of vice versa? Hm. Well, the show rarely does the “fish out of water” story well so here’s hoping we get some actual “what’s this?!” from Camelot Crew

    Such a sweet kid. I’m glad they are keeping him busy. Henry *needs* to play a huge part in all this

    re the Leto/Ledger thing:

    –the movies are in different continuities but it’s still a little bit dis-jarring. It’s hard to erase the previously established version (who was phenomenal) from your mind. Sort of like how I’m not going to be able to see any sort of Flash movie when DC rolls it out because it won’t be Grant Gustin and OMG NO.

    –Leto is a good actor and based on Dallas Buyers Club will do just about anything to get into the role. I don’t doubt that he’ll do a fine job but like I said, I don’t think he’s going to be able to tap into the crazy yet utterly brilliant way that Ledger did it. His Joker seems a little bit more….in control. In the end I just prefer my Joker to be a wee bit more unhinged.

    I do wonder if maybe the burning passion we all had for Once is maybe starting to die down as we become more and more dissatisfied with the show in its current state

    It’s that but it’s also that there’s little to no point in coming up with clever theories when what ends up happening on screen is almost never what you theorized because you didn’t account for magical MacGuffins and other random plot devices and sudden random prophecies, ect.

    There must’ve been a reason why they included Will on the show.

    I strongly suspect there was a reason but the plans for Will were dropped like the proverbial hot potato when the fan reaction (from Rumbellers, yes, but from the WillAna shippers whom A and E never took into consideration) let loose

    Not sure if this will help, but the two episodes that Chambliss and Horgan wrote together in S4 were “Poor Unfortunate Soul” and “Lily” –neither Snowing nor Regina centric. If I had to guess, I’d say Snowing just because the episode prior is most likely Emma’ conversion to the Darkness and Snowing should be the first to experience the fallout since they are her parents. (no idea what the flashback would be but…)

    ETA: they also wrote the Apprentice. Not that this helps anything.

    Cursed Storybrooke-style?

    Quote

    More or less? Or even Cora’s bubble in the EF. But I think what is different is that the residents of Camelot are self-aware; they know that they are stuck in time and (in my head) can bear witness to what is going on outside their insular bubble but can do nothing about it. SB and Cora’s bubble residents were not aware of what was going on during said curse.

    I’ll try to answer your question after some thoughts:

    1) Harley Quinn is perfection and I’m kind of in love with her right now.

    2) I utterly reject Will Smith as Deadshot (for other fandom reasons, and to stand in solidarity with Phee)

    3) No one is going to top Heath Ledger as the Joker and my brain can’t make Ledger’s Joker and Leto’s Joker match up. (seriously…where are the scars?)

    4) Viola Davis as Amanda Waller…good choice there.

    5) I’m hoping it will be good. It has a lot of promise and potential.

    Is it a good thing to get people excited for a movie this far in advance and or is it better to wait until nearer the actual movie’s release date and then capitalise on that anticipation?

    Depends on which side of the line you are on. It’s going to be a success no matter when they start advertising. It’s a blockbuster. But could it be a mega blockbuster without early adverts? Maybe, maybe not. If Hollywood wants as much bang for their buck as they can get (and it’s Hollywood, so of course they do) then they advertise early to build a frenzy. For audience it might get annoying to only get tiny things in piecemeal when we really just want the movie, but that’s the nature of the advertising beast.

    I’m wondering if this is Snowing Centric….you know about them having to pay the price for what they did to Mal’s daughter because their daughter ended up becoming the ultimate darkness. Perhaps this episode is really when they face the consequences of their actions.

    Quote

    For the past few years, episode 2 has been a Snowing or individual Snow/individual Charming episode so possibly.

    302 = Lost Girl (Snowing)

    402 = White Out (Charming/Anna)

    413 (second episode of 4B) = Unforgiven (Snowing)
