My prediction is that Guinevere is related to Regina from her father’s side of the family mostly because they are specifically casting a Latina. I think she’s suppose to parallel young Regina, in a marriage with Leopold.
Yes I considered that. There are also some legends that have Guinevere unable to get pregnant, which would tie back to Regina and what we learned at the end of 4B.

I’m not sure the baby will be nixed–that would have a lot of backlash. But I do think that S5A will most likely take place over the course of a few days as opposed to months. Zelena only being, roughly, 2ish (if that?) months pregnant means that A and E can have her go off on a rescue mission because–lo and behold–Zelena knows *a thing!* that is important, while playing up the OQ+Zelena/baby angst, but NOT have to deal with the actual labor and baby situation until S5B.

Zelena and RH are new shiny toys that A and E like very much AND–probably the biggest hint for their screentime allotment of all–they are connected to Regina. They’ll get lots of time on screen whereas anyone who is not connected to the search for Emma, which will probably be Regina/Regina’s immediate circle of RH and Zelena + Hook, will be left fighting for screentime.

You can even throw Snow and Charming into that mix, at least in S4A.
The only way I can think to make Zelena’s regular status “worth it” is if Zelena actually knows something about Camelot and Merlin and she goes along on the adventure to find Emma, along with Hook, Regina, and Robin. Everyone else stays in SB.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"Grey’s is a totally different beast than OUAT (as was LOST…to compare: the S4 finale of LOST was watched by 12.20 million people–roughly a 4.9; OUAT S4 finale was watched by about 5.5 mil—roughly a 1.8/1.9 ish. The ad share for LOST was always much higher too.) So comparison to any show is really not fair, to either party.
I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if Socha is demoted to reoccurring or even leaves altogether and we get one final shot of Will leaving SB to go back to WL via some magical plot device. I can’t seem them demoting any one else, except Bobby and THAT they won’t announce until closer to airtime (and even then, I don’t think it’s going to happen).

Bex on the other hand, is. If only because that makes it a very full cast to play with. Makes me wonder why they didn’t promote Sean last season along with Soccha if they did in fact have the budget (if they did).
I gotta say though, congrats to both actors, but I now fear for Belle and Henry’s already pitiful screen time and meaning to the continued story. Oh and Will of course. But…that seems a given
