It would be a very fast way of character development for a lot of characters, though at the same time it would be somewhat believable if they have several years of memories from when they were in the AU.
It would be super fast character development but I think I’d prefer that to everyone going back to the status quo which was my fear about an AU in the first place: no lessons are learned because the board is reset at the end. But if they retain their memories and their experiences of being on both sides of that very shaky hero/villain line, then that’s good moving forward.

In his HEA, they are married and in love. So, everything changes, except for Belle and that’s because the Author is writing the story for himself.
Maybe we should keep all this in mind–the writing of Heroes and Villains is Rumple’s subjective lens.

I remember Adam yelling “no spoilers” and “you don’t know what’s really going on!” when we literally had pictures of Pan turning into Malcolm and Rumple stabbing him with the dagger—and we were only on episode 7 at of NL at the time….
Every major season or midseason finale has been spoiled thus far.
Snow and Charming running to each other.
Henry being kidnapped and JR6 going on a boat
Rumple stabbing Pan/ everyone back in the EF in their EF clothing
Time travel and the Snow Drifts scenario
The only thing that didn’t get mega spoiled was Elsa.

Maybe because it’s meant to be a surprise. Maybe we’ll be seeing some unexpected guest stars like Sebastian Stan, Dylan Schmidt, or even Jamie Dornan? *crossing fingers*
I’m more inclined to think it’s probably because the guest cast list is so huge, not necessarily because it’s surprising. We know a few people: Blue, Mal, Lily, Zelena, August….

Why should she have a prominent roll in the child’s life? We don’t know the future, but we do know Zelena in that scene would be a terrible mother.
I disagree. She seemed to show excitement when she felt the baby kick.
I thought it meant she was excited that her plan was coming together. I’m not so sure that Zelena is actually excited about baby so much as “yes! this is how I take down Regina!”
In other news: I don’t want Zelena near that kid…BUT I have to wonder if that decision to keep her distanced won’t come back to bite Regina and Robin on the butt someday. Won’t this turn Zelena into more of a villain?
