Keymaster. I do wish in the companion montage they would have used classic companions as well.
Especially given how many callbacks, subtle and not, they did to past Doctors.

KeymasterI just tried to post in the Doctor Who thread, but nothing shows up?? (I hope this shows up.)
SFG
Hm. Well, normally when this happens there’s a very easy fix but I don’t even see your DW post anywhere at all. I’d try reposting over there since the above went through without issue

10×12 “The Doctor Falls”
Guys I don’t know how to process this one.
I mean I think there’s a lot of good like:
Missy/Master chemistry (apart from the really unnecessary sex joke); the Doctor’s speech to M and M about being kind which was a nice way to dovetail back to 12’s original question 3 seasons ago about if he was a good man or not; ALL the 4th Doctor references ( Tom Baker for the win, y’all); and the ending with 1st Doctor stand in was shocking; I also liked Bill and the Doctor’s conversations because this season has been all about them and their relationship.
On the other hand, handwavey plot and plot devices are handwavey! And I thought given how much we set up the Cybermen as credible threats last week , we did so little with them in the end. I mean they just blew them up? That’s it? And what about the people on the ship who now have to keep moving up and up and up. And Nardole?
Also, what on earth with Bill and the Pilot girl??? I didn’t get that at all and it falls head first into one of Moffat’s more dangerous traps of true love saving the day. So…is Bill dead? I guess so but now she’s just experiencing a new type of living? Also, really shocked she just left the Doctor in the TARDIS and peaced out.
Tossing in “I don’t want to go” was emotional manipulation.
It wasn’t the best season finale ever and I’m torn as to why the reviewer from Cultbox that I posted a few days ago claimed it was.
I dunno. What do you guys think?

KeymasterNext round is the final poll!!!! You must of course only vote for 1 episode
Uhhhhhhh
So. My top 2 are out. So it’s down to my 3rd choice. Wow this got icky. I’m with HJ in liking ALWoM more than GH, though.

This is going to be an interesting year. With us not in Steveston, I honestly don’t know how many set photos we can expect.

KeymasterI don’t know if my comments about S5 were overly negative. It just feels like OITNB has slipped from its own high standard. Disappointment is the word that keeps coming to mind
I don’t believe they were overly negative. I gave it a soft B for the whole season but it’s more like B- or C+ for me. There was just something so…off…about OITNB this year. I’ve other people, both critics and non critics, say that the 3-day riot story stretched on much longer than it needed to and because of that the story suffered. I’ve also seen plenty of criticism about Piscatella.

KeymasterI have a hunch the  explanation will be simple. Emma, her parents, Belle, and Zelena went back to where they’re from (either EF or Oz) while Rumple, Regina, and Hook were cursed to remain in our world because “villains don’t get happy endings.
I could see that happening. And the villain trio need Henry’s help for Author reasons

KeymasterThough, this is probably just based on old spoilers before they even started writing the episodes.
That’s my thought as well. Adam and Eddy didn’t have any solid ideas yet but they knew they’d address it somehow.
Though, this is probably just based on old spoilers before they even started writing the episodes.
I think they will but I agree with @WickedRegal that it’ll likely be some sort of exposition done rapid fire style. The only thing we might briefly see is Henry leaving SB and saying goodbye to Emma, Regina and anyone else OUAT can get for the premiere.
