I’m thinking

Eddy mentioned at Comic-Con when talking about Neverland and Tinkerbelle (I think) that you have to believe. I have to go back and get the full quote, but I think it all ties into believing in fairies, or some tangent of that. We know Blue and the other fairies exist so I don’t know what route their going to go with.
Just wanted to add to this thought: I recently read “The Child Thief”, a PP book that is in no way connected to the original story and has been mentioned in some way shape or form a number of times on the forum. While I don’t think that E&A are directly telling this story, I can’t imagine that they haven’t read this as they are huge PP fans, and there are a number of factors that are eerily similar and I thought I’d share a few because they definitely could fill in some holes:
– Nobody can leave Neverland, but mostly because PP is the only one with the ability to. Although he doesn’t exactly take anyone home either…
– PP kidnaps runaways, orphans, etc. Kids that don’t want to be found or go home. And because of their background…
– “The Lost Ones” are loyal, vicious followers of PP. He basically kidnaps them to train them as warriors to fight the adults who have found their way into NL
– Neverland is dying. He is obsessively devoted to “The Lady”, whose magic keeps NL alive and prevents them from aging.
– And why is NL dying, you may ask? Essentially because NL, the Lady, etc’s powers are all based on faith (ie belief!). Because nobody believes in them anymore. There’s a whole lot more to this book than that, and it’s incredibly dark (don’t read it unless you’re ok with excessive violence, strong language, etc.) but those are the basic points that really struck me while reading it and seeing the links between our little hints and recent spoilers. Another book referenced forever ago (haven’t read it yet) is “PP and the Shadow Thief” in which the villain steals peoples shadows to control them. IMO, I think they could be using these as well as canon from the other PP stories we know and love. They definitely will put their own spin on the story, but I thought it worth mentioning these books again.
Thoughts?

runaroundmacyParticipantI hate all the lashing out against the writers! It happens in all the fan groups too. I joined a RumBelle thread on one of the other boards, and it’s so angsty all the time, it’s really disheartening. It’s ok to be frustrated, but being devastated is way over the top- it’s a tv show! I keep trying to calm them down and encourage them to stay positive and look at the bright side, but it seems impossible at times. A few of them in particular seem to revel in their misery. And any time people start going on and on about how Adam and Eddie don’t care about their favorite character or pairing or that they are bad writers, etc, I just want to pull my hair out!
Just had a debate about this with my best friend. She’s an avid tumbler(er) and asked me about the controversy because she doesn’t follow the show but the SQs were all over social media. She finally admitted that our show is so complicated, and convoluted that it was like, the hardest fandom ever. There’s too many devoted ships, intentional or not, and it doesnt matter if the writers have planned any lgbt characters in at this point. It will only come off as pandering because they’ve waited so long. So eddy and Adam can’t win at this point.

runaroundmacyParticipantThanks RG! Having never done that before I wasn’t sure if it would work. 🙂
Phee – I was thinking the same thing. Who knows how much she’s been told about her character, but there has been a lot of hints towards them knowing each other. Could just be wishful thinking on her part? But I LOVE the idea that they knew eachother, that she’s the dark fairy that gave the dust to SW, and the reason Blue knows fairies can’t fall in love. If this all pans out, I’ll be dropping my pen al a Drumline.

runaroundmacyParticipant“@OneSixMHchick89: @keegolicious I heard Tinker Bell is related to a character on #OUAT. Is Blue getting a sibling???” Or a rival?

Saw this last night on Twitter. Not sure if anyone’s posted this yet… but since we’re on the topic of fairies… (hopefully I did this right!)

runaroundmacyParticipantLongtime lurker, first time poster!
I’d love to see Evan Peters from American Horror Story cast as Peter Pan. I think he has the youthful look, and acting chops to be believable and sympathetic but menacing at the same time. (Since I thought of it its all I can see for the character) I highly doubt the schedule would work out, so its wishful thinking at this point. I know there’s been a casting call for “Rufio”, but a part of me thinks they have Peter Pan cast already. It’s too big of a character to go with an unknown.
Can’t wait to hear everyones thoughts! 🙂
RG- I heart David Tennant. Any excuse to bring him to ouat is ok by me.
