Only if the Dark Lord Baelfire gets to burn stuff,
Which reminds me… Prepare yourselves for Watcher’s Crack Theories… Okay, so this is how season 4 is going to play out: So basically, Henry is going to be working in Rumps shop this season and Rump will bond with henry and tell him all about his father, Bae as well as all the things Rump went through creating the curse to get back to him. Well, like @Lisas and me hope, Henry will learn a bit of magic from Rump and Rump will teach him a very important bit of information that we all know:
True Love is the most powerful magic of all. If you can bottle love , you can do anything.
So later on Emma gets her heart frozen and Hook is the one to use TLK on her to thaw it. Henry takes their hair, bottles it, and like his grandpop has the most powerful magic at his finger tips. He then uses it to do the impossible, which he calls Operation Phoenix, and uses it to Resurrect the dead. But ofcourse, Neal comes back wrong and starts BURNING EVERYTHING >:) Because a phoenix will always rise again from the ashes!!! #OperationPhoenix And so that’s the series finale. Gosh, why am I not writing fanfic
this is so close to my theory! I posted it a million pages back. Posting from my phone, but I’ll be back more after tomorrow night.

OK, for real. Take away this man’s Twitter account. Does he really not have a clue? Or is he doing it on purpose, just to get people talking and hoping. I mean, I know I just posted a long theory about this, but I eye-rolled so hard I’m surprised their still in my head.
Edit: I had an amazing Snow eye roll gif, but I can’t figure out how to post it. So feel free to imagine or post your own. And then tell me how to do it for next time since I’m jealous of all the gif sharing.

*must not make remark….*
No, you can. I’m really 50/50 on it. It’s make or break for me. I’m willing to hope that they held out for a reason, but I’m also ready to accept that they will completely sweep it under the rug. I’m not naive to how much they have completely sold out and ruined what could have been an amazing show. But I said the same thing at the mid-season mark and look how that turned out. S3B was awful, and not just because of Neal. I’m just trying to see the possibility of redemption.
p.s. how’d you like the new Doctor Who ep? I didn’t see a review from you. Interested to hear your take! And maybe I’ll share mine 🙂

runaroundmacyParticipant@Runaroundmacy I love your theory!!!! But there is one problem. It’ll probably end one of two ways. Either they will manage to destroy Evil-Neal and he will not only die again, but will die as a villain which leads to more anger and hatred of the show. OR They will have Emma true love kiss him back to his normal self which would still leave a sour taste in the mouths of some of the louder CS fans (hey I could totes make a scurvy joke :P) so its a lose-lose.
Well, I posted this only in the Swanfire thread, so you can easily see where I’m going with this. I didn’t mention True Love’s Kiss in my original post, because it was already getting so long, but yes, that is exactly where we’re going with it. BUT, CaptainSwan MUST run it’s course. Which is why Emma must find out about Hook being less then forthcoming about the entire truth. I mean c’mon, this guy has had multiple opportunities set up for him to be completely honest. If they’re really terrible writer’s they’ll never mention it. If it’s all been planned from the beginning, then the truth will come out. Either way we’ll find out for sure this season. But if True Love’s Kiss is the cure, I think Emma and co. will exhaust every other option before it, because Emma will never admit that she still loves him until the very end. I just don’t believe she got over everything in a manner of episodes, time jump or not.

runaroundmacyParticipantHere’s to you and your theory! Missed you
I missed you guys too! I’m honestly not too interested in the whole Frozen aspect, too much pandering to me. I’m pretty embroiled in Disney since I live near Orlando and am a DisneyWorld annual pass holder. I’m there at least once a month and trust me, Frozen is for sure Disney’s cash cow at the moment. I kind of roll me eyes at the whole thing. When I think of what Once will do once this half is over, I honestly have no idea. They have kind of used everything up.
Another part of my theory has to do with Malificent coming back. I forgot to mention it! Once this one hit, I kind of thought to myself… Are we finally going to find out how Aurora and Mulan found Philip? Wouldn’t that be some nice parallels for Henry wanting to bring Neal back? Of course, it could all be in flashback and not even deal with Aurora at all.
In other words, I have no idea where this show is going. And it could be great. Or it could just get worse. I lean towards the latter, but I guess a part of me wants to think it could get better so I can say I didn’t waste years of my life.

runaroundmacyParticipant::delurking:: Hi Guys! I’ve been M.I.A. for a while, I know so I feel like I missed a whole lot even though I’ve been reading posts all summer. So, here is “What I did over my Summer Vacation”.
I have had quite a few friends that have either caught up on, or marathoned Once over the last couple of months (yes, mostly because of Frozen). These are general audience, not at all involved in the fandom, and they are all convinced Neal will be back. More so, they all say “Oh yeah, Hook and Emma will get together, obviously, but then Neal will come back somehow and they’re true love. Hello, flashing lights during birth and the pendant?!” Having them watch the series and ask questions and be so into the show, kind of made me a little excited again, and revisit some things.
Now, I do know better than to have any sort of hope, considering I keep up with this forum, and any number of social medias. However, another coworker (who is just as obsessed as I, and as equally as disappointed in S3) and I, started talking about what would actually make “bold storytelling” and start to bring the whole story together. Recently, Ranisha said this:
If Neal ever comes back make him a villain! Not just any villain I mean the ruthless cold hearted evil sociopathic villain, make him Regina, Rumple, Hook all rolled up in one. Let him burn Storybrooke to the ground. Destroy their happy endings if its the last thing he does. Baelfire the Phoenix, Baelfire the Dragon, Baelfire the Hellhound. That way I am CERTAIN he will get a happy ending with his son and father, friends, and family.
And this is, funnily enough, our entire theory for S4 into S5. I have hesitated to share anything, a) because you guys would think we’re crazy; b) I sorta know it’s really not going to happen and c) the theorizing has been so much fun and I don’t want to ruin it with what is actually going to happen through the course of the series. So essentially this is what we think is going to happen. I will spoil it out because although it was never based on spoilers, spoilers have come out that have sort of supported it.
So, we both figured Hook would get his hand back this season. I was surprised to find we all had the same theory, that he blackmails Rumple into giving it back to him. He finds out about the dagger, threatens to tell Belle, but Belle finds out anyways, so Hook has no leverage anymore. Rumple tells Emma about Hook’s past, Milah and Bae, and his part in it, because what does Rumple have to lose anymore? Emma feels betrayed and that she can’t trust him anymore, though for the sake of television, they will try to work things out.
Elsa has come to Storybrooke, which of course is the ultimate distraction. Of course, there are others: Snowing and new baby Snowflake, Outlaw Queen and their drama, Rumbelle and their drama, Hook/Emma, etc., you get it. So all of the adults are so focused on what’s going on in their lives, they forget about Henry, and don’t really acknowledge any of what he’s going through, after losing his father and getting his memories back. Henry starts spending time with his grandfather, trying to find a way to connect to his father. And while Rumple isn’t looking, Henry starts to realize that maybe he has a little magic too. Or a lot.
When Henry finds out he has magic, what do you think he would do? He is a Stiltskin after all, and we all know the Stiltskin men have a few things in common, one of them being making rash decisions without thinking about the consequences. So Henry decides that the one thing he wants to do, has to do, is bring his father back. Season Finale: He casts a spell to bring his father back, except Henry forgets: “all magic comes with a price”. And the price is that he brings back Baelfire, but a Baelfire who is different and who has no recollection of being Neal, without his memories of Emma and Henry. A Baelfire that only remembers being betrayed by his father, without the optimism we all love him for. And we think Bae will replace his father as the new “Dark One”. So for the first time, they will all be fighting a new enemy, one they all know and love. A dark one with no ties to any of them, but instead of being a villain they have to defeat, it’s one they have to save.
So yeah, that was long winded. And not likely by any means. But I wanted to share with you guys. And sort of put it down somewhere so if it does come true I can say I called it, just in case. I will say though, that if we’re onto something here, it would ultimately, for me, equal a bold storyline. That all of S3B wasn’t for nothing, it was just setting up the rest of the series. I know that’s too much to ask for, but I couldn’t hold it in any longer. I know none of you will agree, and that I shouldn’t have hope but I figured what the heck. I’ll be back more often soon! You guys have certainly made me laugh over the summer!

runaroundmacyParticipantRG I Love your happy thoughts!
It’s almost time so I’m just popping in to give {{{{{HUGS}}}}}} You guys have made the time since 315 bearable. Thank you all for making me feel like I wasn’t crazy for feeling the same way.
And a big thanks to all of the people that made me actually join this forum (even if I don’t post as much anymore) so long ago: RG, Phee, KFC, and Slurpeez. Your posts have always been intelligent, poignant and sometimes heartbreaking. You made me want to be a part of this fandom, and I will continue with it, despite whatever outcomes tonight’s episode may have. I’m with RG on this one, I’ll see it out, even if I don’t agree with it. Phee and DSB, thanks for continuing to be cynical/hopeful, let’s hope your valid arguments and logical thinking proves correct.
I will say this though, I’m really glad that NOBODY knows what’s going to happen. I have a feeling there’s going to be some major crazy cliffhanger at the end of this, hopefully to bring us all together again and excited for Season 4 (which honestly, I’m not really at this point). Also, if CS becomes canon tonight, we know our writers love to throw wrenches into the works, so it won’t be easy. How hard did Snowing, Rumbelle, and Philora have to fight to find their TL’s again? And how many of one of them die in the process, only to be brought back… So far, CS hasn’t had any trials, any hardships, so if it hasn’t happened yet, it will. But, you know who has? #justsayin’ 😉
Can’t wait to hear what you all have to say later, and I may just pop in soon again too! <3

runaroundmacyParticipant“The only other person who has been provided motivation to time travel is Rumple, to retrieve Bae. Part of me wonders if that IS S4; it would explain why Neal “had” to die and also MRJ’s departure. It enables Baelfire to remain the central character/reason for the series, as he was in S1, while not forcing the SF story/triangle to be settled. This is probably my main contender for ambiguity on 322… or FAo322, as the case may be. 😉 Welllll see he’s not back, but the story is still ABOUT him… Does that lead back to SF in the end?” – DSB
First, forgive me if i haven’t figured out quoting yet… BUT THIS. Yes, I read the JMO interview, and yes, I kind of spent the night with RG in the tent of doom. But seriously, I’m more with Phee on the cynical P.O.V. on this one. It’s not so much hope, it’s more like, there’s something suspiciously more than meets the eye. I’m just going to throw this out there and if I’m wrong, OK, RG will pass me tissues and bawl on your shoulder and I’ll take up knitting, but if I’m right I’ll have totally called it. I am currently 99% in Le Tent of Doom, but there is 1% of me that is wondering:
We know from spoiler pics that it seems as if Zelena (or Rumple? someone?) has succeeded and turned back time. Emma, Hook, Snow & Charming are in FTL clothing. But we also know from a recent Ginny interview that there are scenes that have been shot that NONE of the cast know about. Is it truly impossible that Neal could reappear at the end of the episode, in a scene that none of the main cast knew was being filmed, that could show him alive again? Is it truly impossible that A&E went to MRJ and told him the long term story arc (like they’ve done with JMO, RC) and said “OK, you’re gonna die, but not really. You’ll be back, but you need to keep it secret”. It’s not, right? This whole season they’ve been trying to keep spoilers under wraps, and if there’s one thing that would surprise the ENTIRE fandom AND GA, it would be this. Call me crazy, but in all honestly if anything would totally completely SHOCK everyone it would be this. I know, it most likely will not happen, I’ve come to terms with Neal never coming back. And honestly, the last eps of this season will kind of determine how I continue with this show. BUT, if it’s a show about hope, I dunno, I just think I need to keep hoping. At least for the next 7 days, even if it kills me. runaroundmacyParticipantHi Y’all! I’ve basically been lurking since 315, I just didn’t have the heart to post until recently (among other life changing events). I’ve been in and out of chat, but I will say that until very recently my enthusiasm for this show has been just as up and down as everyone in here, however most days I’m with Phee and DSB and Slurpeez (sometimes). I spent lots of days in sad town, and my head tells me I should be hanging out with RG in Le Tent of Doom, but my heart keeps popping into the Tent of Optimism after a ride on the conspiracy train. (see I have been paying attention, um and yes, you have all lost your minds). I will address a few things though.
When I first heard the Spoiler of Doom, and then the spoiler pics came out, my first thought was: Ok, so Neal will “die” in 315 BUT I didn’t (and I still sometimes don’t) think it would stick. Storytelling wise it would make much more sense to remove Neal for CS to have a chance without obstacles and uh… honestly? That doesn’t seem to be skipping down the yellow brick road to True Love. And if it is, the writers haven’t convinced me yet. And I’m not a Hook-hater by any means, I just have some issues with the way they’ve been writing him.
Since quote is not working for me:
“It’s the same principal for Neal. If they killed him to do CS, they needed to 1) let him fade as quickly as possible and 2) DO CS! Since he is still mentioned – mentioned and seen, even! – plus the lack of CS ramping up, I just don’t think that’s what’s going on here. We’ll see what happens in 320 but like it or not, I am looking toward that finale with a glint in my eye. I wish I wasn’t, the fall will hurt so much harder than if I wholeheartedly expected it, but yet I am.” – DSB
^THIS. There was NO POINT in bringing Neal back except to remind the GA about him, and that he was a hero. “::gasp:: NEAL sent the bird?! How heroic!” And as DSB so eloquently put earlier (and I won’t quote the whole meta), storywise there are more hints and foreshadowing for SF than there ever have been for CS. These can’t have been there by accident, and we all know “there are no coincidences. Everything that happens, happens by design, and there’s nothing we can do about it; forces greater than us conspire to make it happen. Fate, destiny, whatever you wanna called it, the point is… maybe we met for a reason.”
I listen to a few OUAT Podcasts during my long commute and quite a few of them have commented lately (and of course you have all been discussing) how OOC Emma has been acting lately. And it got me wondering “when was the last time she seemed like Emma?” and that’s when it hit me and I really understood: before 315. Before Neal died, Emma was funny and seemed caring and excited to see her parents, relieved that they remembered her, sensitive to Regina’s feelings about Henry not remembering, acknowledging that Regina would want to spend time with him (and she set it up!), hopeful that they would figure all this out, worried about Neal and his whereabouts, and it was absolutely heartwarming to see her relationship with Henry with her albeit fake memories of raising him.
And then it happened, and everything started to change. She was clearly focused on one thing: breaking the curse, defeating Zelena and getting Henry away as quickly as possible to their “good life in New York”. She’s angry and snapping at everyone including her son, her usual sassy remarks seem a bit more on the nasty side now, didn’t care that Henry wouldn’t remember that he had more family than just her, didn’t care that that family wanted her and Henry in their lives, that Neal had just died and she had a hand in that, that Hook was obviously holding back possibly crucial information, and she just wanted to forget the past and move on. She hasn’t shown an ounce of real, true, raw emotions since that episode. (And I’m not talking about at the funeral or telling Henry about Neal’s death, yes, she was sad, but I’m talking true honest outburst of emotions, when we know Emma is truly feeling something: “I’m not sad, I’m angry”… I love him and I probably always will” etc.)
And when you put it like that, should we really be surprised that Miss Emma “feeling nothing is an attractive option when what you’re feeling sucks” Swan, wants to leave Storybrooke as fast as she can (with or without Henry’s memories)? Just the fact that she hasn’t broken down makes it pretty obvious to me maybe she just hasn’t YET, because right now she doesn’t want to deal with it and in her mind, she might not have to. Leaving Storybrooke means she never has to be reminded of Neal again, she won’t have to deal with that pain, she won’t have to talk to him about her feelings, good and bad, for him. And I don’t doubt for a second that she feels guilty and responsible for his death, especially after the speech from the Echo Caves. Because now he is dead at her hands, and you know what? She doesn’t have to deal with those feelings at all! She can push them all down inside her, and laugh and giggle, but honestly, once I put it all together it seems so forced to me now. In my eyes, she’s trying so hard to be ok, to not deal with how she’s feeling, when it’s now so obvious she is scared, and lost and hopeless. She doesn’t believe anymore, which is exactly why she couldn’t see the book!
I don’t know exactly where I was going with this, and I wrote a whole lot more than I originally intended, but I do say that this, plus DSB’s hints/clues from past episodes, plus the WoT references, Phee’s cynicism, and even Slurpeez’s wavering to the hopeful side have really made me consider the fact that there is a whole lot more waiting to go down in the next couple of episodes. I’m sorry RG, I have a standing reservation in Le Tent of Doom but I just can’t seem to stay for too long. But I will pass you cookies anytime you want. And save me a seat just in case?
