Really quick: I will never believe the media bias again. There was nothing BUT SF feels in this episode. It’s like they’re just setting up their reunion. Back to Walking Dead 🙂

I’ve been keeping up with the threads but haven’t had a chance to post for a while because of real life stuff but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for keeping my hopes up. This hiatus has been rough, and I’ve gone through the same ups and downs with everyone (I’m looking at you RG and Jo) but it seems like when ever I was down and unexcited about Once returning, someone on here posted something that gave me HOPE. So thanks to all of you for being so amazingly hopeful, and reminding us all of FACTS FROM THE ACTUAL SHOW that remind me of the reason I began watching Once Upon a Time in the first place.

RG, I’m sorry in advance if the spoiler bars don’t work. I haven’t done this in a while.
I’m going to start off by saying I am 100% prepared for Neal being the death. I always have an expect the worst attitude, so I won’t be disappointed. BUT that being said, I am really suspicious of the recent spoilers and interviews we’ve received lately (especially the one today). The wording that they choose are extremely ambiguous: “we won’t see that this year” could mean in the future, or it could mean not at all. “He’s not going anywhere” could mean for a while, not leaving SB, not going to another land. “eventually he will get a costume change”, could mean he’s in a flashback in his navy uniform, or a younger incarnation of Hook before Milah (pirates did add on to their clothes as they plundered). It doesn’t mean he’ll be in jeans and a cardigan. They didn’t say and it doesn’t mean, that Hook isn’t going to die. And even if he is, would they actually say that in an interview? Of course not! If I were A&E, that’s exactly what I would do. Answer as ambiguously as possible so it couldn’t be said later that I lied, and give snippets of info to add to the excitement of the upcoming episodes. Another thing I find suspicious was their statement about sometimes you revert back to who you were (or something to that effect). I can’t see Rumple or Regina reverting back to their old “villain” ways, but I could see Hook doing it. Rumple and Regina have both backslid in their arcs, only to finally be redeemed through great sacrifice. Have we seen this with Hook? The answer is no. Both of our villains have lived through their sacrifices, but that doesn’t mean they weren’t in danger of dying. Now, the lack of MRJ on set and lackluster answers to interview questions could be seen in a few ways. Either he is dead, and dead is dead and they dont want to spoil it. OR it’s not him. OR he does die and is brought back (they did say a death would be reversed). Personally, I think that he’s being kept very tight under wraps on purpose so the fandom has no idea whether or not he’s alive or dead. A&E have been very very careful this season about not spoiling too much (#nospoilers), fewer sneak peaks and script teases, no info during interviews. If Neal is the one that dies, then they did a terrible job of keeping that a secret, which is why I have a feeling everyone will be shocked when he’s not. The first episode hasn’t even aired yet, and we all know who the death is going to be? Either they’re really really bad at this, or they’re geniuses.

To all those that think Hook is safe because we won’t see his deal this year…Think for two seconds, please!
Seriously? They just said it’s not going to happen this year. Meaning.. we’re not going to see it this year. Maybe we’ll see it next year or three years from now or never. All it means is that we won’t see the deal in S3.

I think the “not possible” thing would suggest something that might help convince her to believe something about magic potions as opposed to thinking “Danger danger, I live in NY and its just another drug-drunk-addled stranger!” So an ordinary object anyone could have or even that Neal might have had left over from their thief days wouldn’t I think do it.
Exactly! I’m trying to think of the simplest reason why Emma would start to think that what Hook is saying is the truth. And if Hook does give her Neal’s address and says something like “go there, you’ll believe me!” with or without Neal’s prompting (we have no idea if Neal told him to do this, but we do know that Hook has been to Neal’s apartment), *and* there is a picture of Henry and Neal from that day/those days in Manhattan, Emma is sure to realize that *something* is up. Because in her mind, that day never happened, so there shouldn’t be a picture of the two of them together. That there is more to his story to get her start believing he may be telling the truth.

But as we all know Emma *needs* proof. I like the idea of a cross section of the map, but all that would tell Emma is that some guy lived here that had a dream catcher and a map of Tallahassee. We as the audience recognize all these symbols, and want her to take a leap of faith, but her as a character wouldn’t believe anything, much less run after Hook and drink a potion, especially if they are going to speed up the process to one episode. It took an entire season for Emma to believe in the curse and her past last time, it’s gotta be something big for her to do it so quickly this time, at least to realize that something is wrong/missing. Of course, realistically there was probably no time for Henry to take all of his pictures, get it developed (although that only takes an hour these days) and Neal put it in a frame before Hook showed up in Manhattan, but let’s be honest, here… would anyone be surprised if that “magically” (for lack of a better word) appeared in Neal’s apartment this season? It’s not like all of the details have been super thought out and well written at this point.

Haven’t been around in forever but honestly you guys bring a smile to my face everyday. This hiatus is brutal, but it gives me a chance to catch up on life, so here’s to hoping I can contribute something worthwhile soon! But honestly, everything I’m thinking/feeling you guys say so much better than I ever could.

Haven’t posted in forever but I’ve been thinking a lot about the promo. A thought struck me the other day, and Phee’s screenshots made it seem more likely so I thought I’d add a theory! It looks like Emma could be holding a picture frame, and in Manhattan, Henry did seem rather adament about getting his camera to take pictures… Could this be a picture of Neal and Henry, or Neal, Emma and Henry? Or of course, Neal, Rumple and Henry?
Emma would start to wonder why there would be a picture of Henry with Neal, if she has no memories whatsoever of the events of Manhattan (and surely there was enough time to develop film, and surely Henry took a picture with his newfound dad). It would be enough to start her wondering, and honestly with all the plot holes this season I wouldn’t be surprised. It’s an easy enough explanation for her to start doubting her memories, even if theoretically there wasn’t a whole lot of time after going for pizza and rushing Rumple to Storybrooke. Thoughts?
