I’m wondering if we’ll see Rumple gain back his mortality and then sacrifice himself for someone else – perhaps giving up his heart can somehow cure Nook and Alice. But I agree having him straight up just kill himself to reunite with Belle would be all kinds of awful and the antithesis of “hope” that A & E champion as the show’s whole theme.
[adrotate group="5"]I could see Henry becoming the new guardian. It would fit with him driving by on his motorcycle when Rumple went to the moment of the guardian in 7×04. This would fulfill the “boy will be your undoing” prophecy from S2 (assuming that wasn’t meant to be fulfilled with Pan – I’m hoping it wasn’t). It would seemingly make Henry immortal, which could make sense with him being the Author – although I’d think Ella would need to be made immortal too then somehow. I could also see Rumple giving his own heart to cure Nook and Alice’s problem, since Rumple’s going to die anyway. That would wrap up 2 plot threads at once.

Right, but they backtracked on that (likely because of fan outcry) in 6X01 with Regina choosing to believe he was in a good place and showing the feather falling.

It’s also possible Nick is Zelena’s fiancé. Thus far, we haven’t seen them interact so it’s possibe she doesn’t know he’s in Hyperion.
I think the guy in Nick’s car he’s holding captive while calling Zelena is her fiancé.
It’s pretty awesome Lana gets to direct a Hansel and Gretel episode since she’s said that’s her favorite fairytale. Good on A&E for making that happen.
–I really don’t understand why characters like Cinderella and Rapunzel are wholly different from their counterparts in the EF 1.0 but characters like Smee and Blackbeard are played by the same actors and even act the same (apart from availability)
Smee and Blackbeard are from the Wish Realm. Cinderella and Rapunzel are from The Enchanted Forest 2.0.
Smee was with Nook when Wish Regina’s powers were taken away. Nook gave him the Jolly Roger when he left to take care of Alice. I’m assuming Blackbeard was the one from the Wish Realm because his make up made him look older and his wig was very messed up and no longer curled and pristine like it used to be.
Right. I think we’re supposed to assume they realm hopped to Wish Realm and back again…somehow…
Anyone wanna hazard a guess as to how Wyatt’s very dead wife is alive??
I’m hoping Rittenhouse orchestrated it and that Wyatt’s wife has been Rittenhouse all along. That way Wyatt and Lucy can stay together, it’s a great twist, and it shows Rittenhouse can “bring back the dead” which is an element that adds a whole new can of worms.
Well let’s hope so or Rumple’s story line this season makes no sense. He has spent something like the last 12 years or so looking for the Guardian so unless they are going to do some kind of twist where he is the one who can lay down the dark one dagger and become mortal they are going to have to come up with another Guardian. I know my theory is really silly but maybe it is Facilier. I mean we still have no idea why he wants the dark one dagger, maybe it was in the cards that Facilier is to take the dagger from Rumple and release him from the curse. This would also put Facilier in the definitely good guy pile and allow Regina to live happily ever after with him. If not it better be Henry or Alice because that was the first people Rumple met when he came to EF2 and therefore makes the most sense.
I like your thoughts on Facilier being the Guardian. But there going to have to do quite a bit to explain away his shadiness in the past and present, to where he’s a “good guy” worthy of Regina. I could see something having happened between the evens of 7×12 and now that redeemed him, but then why he is still using Naveen and Regina is still wary of him? I really want Henry to be the guardian, because it fits with prophecy and would tie up “the boy will be your undoing” from Season 2 – it’s always bothered me they never came back to that.
