Couple possibilities: Gothel, Rapunzel/Victoria, or Alice. My money is on Alice since I think Rapunzel’s centric is coming up before break.
I agree. I think this ep will show us Alice growing up in the tower, playing chess with WR Hook, and how she finally escaped it.

She’s not in anymore that we know of yet. I seem to recall Emile saying in an interview after “Beauty” that she’d be open to return. If the season ends with Rumple reuniting with Belle in the afterlife, and I think it will, A&E will definitely have her back. So seeing her before then isn’t out of the realm of possibilities.

Though, this isn’t actually multiverse where slightly different choices were made. These are different people doing similar stories. There seems to be multiple other realms within this different realm. A different Wonderland. A different Enchanted Forest. There is no other Snow that looks like Ginnifer Goodwin. I think that is what is different with the wish realm. It is exactly the same until that one choice, so it is more like multiverse.
Right. Wish Realm is multiverse-esque while the New Enchanted Forest and presumably new Wonderland aren’t as much because, they have different people with completely different stories than Enchanted Forest A.
–How does “many years ago” even make sense for the Wish Realm??? It didn’t exist until last year! (yes, I will continue to find this befuddling!)
This is the only way I can make sense of this in my head: The Wish Realm wasn’t actually created by The EQ’s wish, it was just accessed by the wish. It already existed prior to the wish, and our Emma replaced the Emma in Wish Realm when the wish was made. Perhaps, as someone on here said, there are many, many realms that exist where a different choice was made in the timeline – for example ranging from a realm where Rumple never became the Dark One to a realm where young Snow didn’t tell Cora Regina’s secret. It’s really messy, and I wish Regina, Henry, or Rumple would question all of this to provide us an explanation, but that’s the best I can come up with.
Since we have a new Jack in the EF 2.0 maybe there was a truce with the giants and magic beans are just common now. Henry said he was one of the first friends he met when he came to EF 2.0. It would explain why he and his family have an abundance of magic beans.
Ooh I really like that theory. Plus it would be fun to see them do Jack again since we only got her in on episode in S2.
It has to be another Wonderland. It can’t be the Wonderland where Cora was and it can’t be like Once in Wonderland because this is a different Alice.
I wonder how much we will ever see any of the other Wonderland characters. Like will there be a Hatter, or Red Queen, a Queen of Hearts, a Rabbit, or will we not really see any of that since they have done it twice.
I agree it’s probably a different Wonderland, although I’d like it if it was the same. But the Wonderland in OUAT and OUATiW were the same place so they haven’t exactly done it twice… but maybe I’m misunderstanding.
