Since this is what basically what Lucy says to Henry at his apartment door in 6×22 and 7×01, maybe this ep will come full circle and show how Lucy “woke up” and decided to seek out Henry.
[adrotate group="5"]ry4christParticipantIt might be ending on ABC, but it might continue one the new Disney Streaming service. You never know.
I would enjoy a Season 8, as I feel the show has made itself fresh again with S7. Its possible they’d put it on their streaming service, but I think they would have announced that. Of course there’s always the very slim chance the show could pull a “Timeless” and get “uncanceled.”
I also wonder if S6 didn’t get the Netflix views ABC was hoping for, since they indicated that was part of the reason for the S7 renewal, if I recall correctly.
ry4christParticipantSo 7×19 is a Gothel backstory.I’m intrigued.
ry4christParticipantMixed emotions. This has been my favorite show for the past 6+ years. I’m glad ABC let A&E know a head of time, so they can give it what I hope will be a satisfying ending. I am sad though, that we’re ending now – I haven’t enjoyed OUAT as a whole this much like I have this season really since 3A. I felt they finally took a step in the right direction by ending a narrative with S6 and introducing a completely new storyline. It makes S7 feel like a tack-on/epilogue to the series, but I am thankful we still got another season and more episodes through it. And I agree with rikucrafter – I will miss this forum and podcast and all of you who’ve made it such a fun experience 🙂
Side note: Is anyone else annoyed they’re claiming the show will end with 156 episodes? They made a huge deal and back and forth about “Smash the Mirror” in S4 being just 1 episode so that they could bill the premiere of 5B as the “100th” episode, which would put the series episode total at 155. Now that the show is going to end, they’re claiming they had 156 episodes. Color me unimpressed. -_-
ry4christParticipant(and I honestly haven’t ruled out MRJ popping in for a papa/Bae reunion in heaven).
I REALLY hope they make this happen. Rumple’s exit from the show won’t feel complete without an appearance from Neal.
I would have loved if they had brought Neal back for this season. He could have been sent down to our world by Zeus to help get adult Henry to believe and maybe help Rumple on his guardian quest. That would have been awesome, in my opinion.
ry4christParticipantWill any familiar faces die by season’s end?
KITSIS: Yes.
Gothel, Drizella possibly.
And Rumple. Maybe Tremaine based on her absence on set in recent episodes.
ry4christParticipantThis is where Jacinda’s ex — Henry’s best friend from EF2 — does a far, far better thing than he has ever done.
You think Nick will sacrifice himself for Henry and Lucy’s sake? How so?
ry4christParticipantI doubt that Henry will die. The writers will come up with some clever or not clever MacGuffin to save everyone.
Right. No way Henry will die. I wish they had explained better why breaking the curse means Henry dies and why not breaking it means Lucy dies. It’s hard to feel the stakes when we don’t understand why they are the way they are.
ry4christParticipantI’m interested to see how they’ll work him into Tiana’s story considering how they’ve already changed things. Will he be a frog at some point, or do they consider that element of the story “already done” in 7×05 with the random guy who was a frog? Nice to see he’ll be recurring.
ry4christParticipantI wonder if this will be Robert Carlyle’s final episode.
