What is ‘dark magic’ anyway? Did it originate with Nimue? If it did then since her initial magic (immortality at least) came from The Holy Grail, which in Once is either A source or possibly THE source of ‘light magic’ in all the realms (debatable I’m sure… did fairies get magic from the grail. Is fairy magic light magic at all or just shady?). Nimue became ‘dark’ after she killed someone… wouldn’t that mean that dark magic is just light magic that has been corrupted by bad choices/sin?
Yeah, I don’t think it could have originated with Nimue since there was the evil guy – Vortigan? – she killed when she became the first Dark One.
So the darkness is a they, or a force/minion/agent of some group, not just one individual. Interesting……

19 voters so far! Thanks everyone! However there were 5 people who chose over 20 episodes – 21, 21, 23, 24, 25. I felt like I was clear in the directions. I’m leaning towards deleting all of the voters who cast over 20 votes, since this definitely affects the final outcome, but I’m open to hearing what the group thinks.
Hm. Well it’s easy to accidentally do one or two more. I kept having to recount to make sure I was at 20. 5 more is a bit much *but* I also don’t want those votes to suddenly affect the entire outcome by not being there (or by being there).
I would say keep the two 21’s (again, easy mistake)
Yes, I’m willing to give the the 21’s the benefit of the doubt – it is easy to miscount by 1 or 2. If the poll would allow me to limit the number of choices I would do so. So I agree in keeping those, but I’m less likely to keep the others. I hate to discount all of their votes, but it’s not really fair to the everyone else to kept their votes limited to 20 – I could easily have picked 5 more lol. But removing all of those votes effects the outcome too. A few other options could be to either give everyone grace for this first round OR we could discard this poll and repeat it and expect everyone to count correctly/not over vote this time. Any over votes would then be deleted if it happened again.

I actually voted for at least one episode for each season which surprised me, I guess every season had at least one really good episode at least for me.
I voted for at least one episode in each season except for Season 5. They’re were a few that came close though.
