ParticipantBTW TV Line Hotline confirmed Gosh, Emilie and Jared are out of S7 as well.
Can you link the article? I believe you, I just can’t find it and want to read it.

ParticipantBut yea this doesn’t mean well for Colin/Hook, since he doesn’t really have a story outside of Emma.
Yeah, I really don’t want a storyline of Hook losing Emma and spending S7 trying to find her. I don’t know how him remaining a main character would make sense otherwise.

ParticipantI’m definitely ok with this. Emma’s story will be complete. The only main characters I can see continuing to maybe have some interesting storylines left are Regina, Zelena, and Henry (aged up). Have the other cast reappear in flashbacks from time to time especially Rumple since that’s everyone’s favorite version of him
anyway.I’m also in the group of wanting to see what a reboot with new main cast could be. Even though the show isn’t as enjoyable as it used to be, A&E were capable of creating a truly compelling storyline in the first 2 seasons or so when they were still writing from what had been planned out from beforehand. With the right new cast members, I think they could do it again.

ParticipantI absolutely loved this episode. It is BY FAR my favorite episode of the last 2 seasons. I love musicals and they did a wonderful job with giving the show that treatment.
Liked:
– The songs! They were catchy tunes with clever lyrics and the actresses could actually sing!
– The connection between the flashback singing and the song in Emma’s heart in the present. I felt it was well executed for the most part.
– The wedding was done beautifully and topped off with the awesome ensemble number.
Mixed:
– Zelena’s number. It was beautifully sung with clever lyrics. I just wanted more of an epic, show-stopper sounding villain song from Zelena. The feel of the song didn’t give off a very villainy vibe.
– The Blue Fairy being behind the wish and thus the ultimate reason for the song in Emma’s heart to defeat the Black Fairy in this episode. I like that it makes Blue more important, but it doesn’t fit with Shady Blue which I still can’t seem to let go of! lol
– So is this new curse by the Black Fairy NOT the Dark Curse since no heart was sacrificed? If so that needed to be made more clear, especially with the references to the Dark curse in the flashbacks. I’m fine with it being a different curse, but it was confusing.
– The use of the song in Emma’s heart to help her realize she wasn’t alone was beautifully done, but didn’t she conquer the whole “lone wolf” mentality in S4A? And why is Henry encouraging her toward this temporary relapse in character development?
Disliked:
– Why couldn’t Emma’s all-powerful song magic turn Snow’s dress back to being white? Also, I felt like it would have been in character for Snow to cry when the Black Fairy ruined it.
– No Belle or Gideon
– Where exactly did the storybook page showing Blue Fairy with the Charmings appear from? The same place as Page 23 in Season 4? Without Henry seeing it and showing it to Emma, I don’t think she would’ve found the song in her heart, so I feel like where it came from is kind of important. Or did I genuinely just miss something?

ParticipantHere are some of my dream cast upgrades:
The Blue Fairy: She’s been with the show from the very beginning and yet we still no next to nothing about her origin and overall motivations. Even if they don’t go the “Shady Blue” route, I would really love to see her get the main character treatment I think she deserves.
Dr. Frankenstein/Dr. Whale: His story has felt unfinished since mid Season 2. I think his reliance on science over magic could be an interesting plot point to bring back that got dropped. It would also give the show variety in flashing back to a different realm – the Land Without Color – a place with potential for other new character connections such as Dracula, the Bride of Frankenstein, etc.
Will Scarlet and the Red Queen/Anastasia: Will actually was billed as starring in Season 4 and then just disappeared. I loved both his and Ana’s characters in OUATiW – they remain my favorite couple in the OUAT universe. Questions raised in S4 could be answered and many more adventures could be shown. Again, it would also give the show variety in flashing back to a different realm – Wonderland.

ParticipantI can’t wait until this episode airs! I love musicals and the cast can actually sing! I can already tell this is going to be my favorite episode of the season by a long shot.

ParticipantAlso expected to come back is veteran Once Upon a Time, which is in a process of closing deals with four cast members who would lead a planned reimagining, Jennifer Morrison, Lana Parrilla, Robert Carlyle and Colin O’Donoghue. The show also has been signing high-level writer-producers for next season.
If the latter means getting stronger writers, color me intrigued. The writing quality has far been the largest complaint about the show.
Definitely agree.
The remaining four would “lead” S7? I wonder what this means exactly. I’d personally prefer they aren’t the main focus and just help transition the show into the new storyline. Especially if their individual storylines are each “wrapped up” this season.

ParticipantEither a short 13/15/17 episode final season to air in Fall/Winter or OUAT is being moved to a different day. I hope it’s the former TBH.
If they’re going to start a brand new storyline with different characters, I’d like to see there be at least 2 more seasons to flesh everything out. Otherwise, a truncated S7 is just going to feel like a tacked on, failed spin-off.

ParticipantJack Davies as Young Pinocchio
Jakob’s younger brother, perhaps? I just saw him in the sneak peek; he looks just like him.
Which make me wonder: Why didn’t they just get Jakob to play August in “Tougher than the Rest?”
Ohhhhhh. That makes sense. I assumed they had just misspelled Jakob’s name in the press release, but he looked way too young in the sneak peak – I thought wow, that kid hasn’t aged in 6 years LOL

ParticipantI think if this did end up being the series finale, fans would still be bummed about all of the dropped storylines for the quote on quote “minor characters” that they had considered giving a vignette episode to this Season, but got canned.
#WhatHappenedToAna
YES. #WhatHappenedToAna and #TellMeWithoutRuiningWonderland
Yeah, I still don’t get why they told us they considered a vignette episode and then didn’t do it. Just to disappoint people?
