Regina was always Regina Mills. Cora was always the Miller’s daughter.
But Regina is the Evil Queen from Snow White and Cora played the role of the Queen of Hearts from Alice and Wonderland. OUAT definitely expanded and reshaped those characters, but they still shared the titles.

Nope.
Greg and Tamara, Isaac, I guess even Dark Swan.Yeah, Dark Swan sort of counts. I guess she counts, she was just a lame villain since she didn’t have evil motives. lol. I did forgot about Greg, Tamara, and Isaac though. They were smaller arc villains so you’re right. But it wouldn’t surprise me if they give her another already established fairtytale/literature identity since they like to do that.
ry4christParticipantShe’ll secretly be Yzma.
Haha yes! And Patrick Warburton can guest star as Kronk!

ry4christParticipantIn flashbacks, we learn what Snow and Charming sacrificed in order for Emma to fulfill her destiny as the Savior,
So Snow and Charming somehow see Emma’s childhood, but based on the promos have a chance to change it? What? Also, why is Sara Tomko credited as Native American Woman/Tiger Lily? If she’s presently in Neverland, we can’t see her “Storybrooke counterpart” right?
ry4christParticipantI think they acted like Rumpel just saw flashes of the future. Like he knew that Emma’s last name was Swan, but he needed Snow to tell him Emma’s first name so when he heard it at the end of the pilot he would regain his memories. There is no evidence that Rumpel just sees all of the future, but rather that he just sees short, disjointed visions of some sort.
With him just getting tiny glimpses of the future, they really missed out on a spinoff opportunity called “That’s So Rumple.” The theme song wouldn’t even need much tweaking:
“You can gaze into the future(future, future)
You might think life would be a breeze(as long as I say “Please!”)
Seeing trouble from a distance(Yeah!)(go Rump)
But then it’s not that easy(oh no)
I try to save the situation
Then I end up misbehavin’ (ohohohoh)”ry4christParticipantry4christ wrote:
Did anyone else find it strange the flashbacks started with the Black Fairy carrying baby Gideon through the sky and not with her overpowering Blue and stealing him as Blue claimed to have happened? IYes.
I’m glad I’m not the only one that thought that. I also thought it was weird how Black Fairy referred to Gideon as “a gift.” From Belle because Black is Blue? From Blue because she’s shady and gave Gideon to her, hence why we didn’t see Black taking Gideon from Blue in the flashback? Or it was just a figure of speech? It just seemed like the line was written intentionally that way.
ry4christParticipantCould it be that it wasn’t the blue fairy then that gave Bae the magic bean? Or what if the seer that told Rumple about the prophecy was the black fairy too?
If the black fairy was able to plan so far ahead she must have known that Rumple would let Bae fall through the portal and would lead to him casting the curse years later to find him.
If we bring Pan into the story, maybe that is why he took Bae to Neverland. Maybe he tried to sabotage the black fairy’s plan, which could explain why he knew about Henry?
Just a few thoughts…..
I really like all of this. It would give a sense of purpose to many of the seemingly unconnected plot lines over the years.
ry4christParticipantDid anyone else find it strange the flashbacks started with the Black Fairy carrying baby Gideon through the sky and not with her overpowering Blue and stealing him as Blue claimed to have happened? I know the writers probably won’t go with Black is Blue, but it might make sense as to how she knew about Emma as the Savior in Storybrooke. But then why would she need to control Gideon’s heart to open the portal to get to Storybrooke? Unless that was all an act? It’s just weird that Blue created the sword that supposedly opened the portal, banished the Black Fairy long ago, and just has these weird connections to her. It’s all so strange, I don’t know how to make sense of it.
ry4christParticipantI think what I’m wondering is what NVL is like without the Shadow; do you still stay young forever?
It seems to be grown men attacking Hook and Black Beard, rather than boys in the promo, so I guess you can age in NVL now, but the lost boys shouldn’t have aged that much since Season 3, unless it’s the opposite now and you somehow age faster now?! Color me confused.
