But this is my issue, why is Regina still struggling with magic by this point if she already became a pro in “The Doctor” (2×05)? It doesn’t make any sense for Regina to still be struggling with magic, especially when you consider it’s close to the casting of the Dark Curse?
My impression was that by the end of “The Doctor” Regina had overcome her qualms about using magic. That doesn’t mean she had mastered it by then though. I had always assumed Regina would have been better at magic by the time of “Enter the Dragon,” but I don’t see why she had to have been. I assume most of the Regina flashbacks we’ve seen where she is full on evil and/or doing magic occurred in the one or two years before she cast the Dark Curse except for 1×20, 2×02, 2×05, 3×03, 4×14, etc.

Ooh, good catch. That would make more sense than counting Maleficent as one of the “stops” – although I could see the writers doing that.
I guess it wouldn’t be OOC for Pan just to send Hook on senseless errands. I don’t know that they’ll portray it that way though.
I know you’re right obisgirl, I just wish they would give us something. Even if they just mention that Pan had the ability to see the future and that’s how he had the drawing – SOMETHING.
The trips to the Enchanted Forest could also explain how he learned about the Dark One’s Dagger, right? Also, the fact they’re still referencing Pan in flashbacks gives me a little hope they’ll eventually address how Pan had the drawing of Henry before He was born in 2×22. For me, that was one of the most intriguing questions that season finale left me with and then it never was explained 🙁
That makes a lot of sense Keb. I don’t think they would do a retcon of the curse only lasting 100 years – it being an earlier, “weaker” version of it makes sense. I too hope we get another episode explaining all this 😀
Yeah, 422 is most likely “Operation Mongoose Part 2,” but I have seen a t.v. show give the “Part 2” of a two-parter episode a different title for some reason. And with OUAT you just never know what strange things they might do. LOL.
